I have a travel camper and it has of course the bedroom but it has a big couch that folds out into a bed. The first time I went to use it you could feel the steel bars and even putting a mattress topper there you can still fill those bars. So when I saw this I knew this was going to fix that issue. And it does for the most part. It's not as thick as I thought it was going to be but it does remove the majority of the bars. Can't have an extra mattress inside the camper cuz it'll take up too much room So I've gotten memory foam toppers and a mattress pad topper and just put over the frame and it works perfectly. Especially after I got this. And all three of them are easy to fold and put away. That's the best thing. It doesn't take up a lot of room and it's lightweight enough it doesn't hurt when you're pulling the camper. I also think this would probably work if you put it under your couch cushions because they're starting to sag. Or you can put it under your own bed if it's starting to sag and you can't afford a new mattress. There's quite a few differences that this can fix. I'm glad I ordered it ... show more

Seriously have no idea how this thin bunky board can make such a huge difference to a 10 inch medium firm hybrid mattress? I wasn't expecting it to work this well. My mattress feels more firm, more solid. Yet it is soft because it has a pillow top. I prefer firm mattresses, but my back needs something softer. The addition of this bunky board to a medium firm mattress is perfect. The bunky board folds so it is very convenient to handle or store. The mattress doesn't move around, it's stays in place.
