I love this litter box! So cute, looks great in my house - most people don't know what it is at first. I have two cats and bought this as a second box for upstairs. I love the idea of the one-way design! The entire top panel is a mesh setup so that the loose littler falls off paws after exiting from top and back into the box not onto the floor. Doesn't stop all of the litter, but stops most of it! I bought the bigger size, and I think I will move it downstairs and get one of the smaller ones to use upstairs. I don't always pull the tray right out - you have to be mindful of how litter may be pilled up first or you will get spillage. Sometimes I just go in the top with the scoop. Monthly I take it outside with the hose. I don't use the included scoop but the little brush is good for spot cleaning the top. Good solid construction - this one does not fall apart like many of them online do - snaps together nice and tight, made of heavy plastic. The top will never pop off of it while cat is exiting from the top. You can make the door one-way or leave swing free like a normal box. I let my cats play in it for a while to get used to the one-way circuit before I added the litter. Great litter box - I will buy another smaller one. ... show more

My cat had been having accidents in our bedroom outside of her litter box to where she was consistently pooping in her cat bed even when she had access to her litter box. After thoroughly washing her bedding and giving her a new litter box for our bedroom, the problem was solved immediately! I was initially hesitant to get a litter box for the bedroom because I didn't want it to smell. The design of this litter box does a great job at blending in with the room and containing the smell, while also not getting litter all over the carpet. As long as I scoop it every day or other day I don't notice any smell at all, and my cat really likes the litter box! Very easy to assemble, and a good size! I did end up leaving off the front flap, my kittens were just to scared to use the litterbox with the flap on, but other than that, we've had no issues. And the enclosure as certainly cut down on stray litter. We did have one issue though. The kittens were playing on top, and one got her toe caught in the grill. Truthfully, I have no idea how she managed it, but her scream while she flailed around and tried to get free was heartbreaking. I ended up putting a thick towel folded up on top to protect little toes in the future. It would be really nice if it had a pad or something to make the top more solid instead of the mesh grill. ... show more

We have two cats and only one loves this one. He weirdly doesn’t use the front entrance and jumps from the top 🤣 it holds a good amount on cat litter and actually keeps the litter in even when the cats jump out of it. It’s a great cat litter box, soo cute and I love the design. I bought a litter mat because it is not leak proof, the mat helps catch the scattered litter. The only thing is that I wish the pan that holds the litter was deeper. Compared to the last litter box I had, I never had to worry about my cats waste getting stuck to the bottom of the pan. Alsooo the litter scooper has pretty big holes, not all my cats waste is big, sometimes it’s broken into pieces and they fall through the scooper. ... show more

I don't typically like to give 5 stars, but I am seriously so pleased with this box. It's easy to clean, minimizes litter scatter, and looks great. The vents on top keep the box from smelling. I have a VERY particular cat who will only use a litter box under perfect conditions, and she has only peed outside the box once in the two months of using it (used to be almost a daily occurrence before this box). I don't use the door, but that's just my cat... but I love the idea of a one-way exit over the grate. I have not had any of the leaking issues others warned about, but all three of my cats (1 female, 2 males) have been fixed and don't spray. ... show more

It didn’t take long to train my cats to use the swinging door, but they’re not anxious. I can imagine it might be more challenging for nervous cats. That said, it’s a big improvement over a litter box without walls. However, I initially expected that almost no litter would escape, which isn’t the case—some do get through.
