The right aid for the right situation! We have an electric hospital bed for homecare. We did not originally opt for bottom rail, but now needed a short 2nd bedrail for lower half. I didn't want one that folded down towards the foot of the bed - either too expensive, or there was something about the down position I didn't like. Looked for one that folds away from bed, and when folded down doesn't have part of the vertical supports still extending above the mattress. This one is easy to release lock for folding (but not likely to be released accidentally while, eg asleep). Main - but for us, minor - area for improvement would be the short vertical metal tab guides (for lack of a better descriptor) that jut out an inch about calf-level when sitting on edge of bed. But we've been able to avoid scraping leg on it without much difficulty when positioning my elderly father when swinging legs over side of bed and sitting up on the edge. Going the opposite direction to lay down not an issue at all. It's done the job of preventing legs from flopping over the edge of the bed while asleep and potentially resulting in a fall to the ground.

I just had back surgery. We went on Amazon to see if we could find bed rail. So many to choose from. Chose the Ojiiud Foldable bed rail. The PT person said this would be helpful. Put the order in. 1. Really helps me get out of bed and turn over in bed. Something to hold on too. 2. Got the package the next day.Yeah! My friend the rail together. We used the video. Really easy. Placed the rail between the mattresses. So much easier to getting out of bed and turning over. So glad I have the bed rail. Made my laying down so much better. I suggest this to anybody who needs help from surgery.

Came on time, easy to assemble and install. Works like a charm folding up & down. I needed a smaller railing to fill in a gap at the bedside, and this worked out very well. I can drop the railing for easy entrance/exit from the bed, then raise it to secure the bed and prevent my wife from exiting without help and falling. Would highly recommend.

This Bed Rail worked out perfectly for my Father, he is not as stable since having a stroke and the last bed rail we had was too bulky and in the road, this one is discreet but so helpful and nice having the grab bar option on the top and the side, it's great for safety and very good quality, highly recommend.
