Great features for the induction pickup and RPM function. Good to use with a timing light also and compare readings. Don’t be a parts changer. There’s a difference between a Mechanic versus a Technician who understands why they’re changing a part.     • Useful, best bang for your buck
Fluke's service is incredible, I was having erratic resistance readings with the silicone test leads and I emailed them and was sent out a new pair no questions asked and free of charge. That right there is worth sticking with the brand. I have always loved Fluke for accuracy and ease of use, this is a great kit for mechanics. It is definitely specific to automotive given the attachments. I have found it very useful already in my short time owning it as a mechanic. This is my second fluke meter and I only have 2 minor complaints. First off it has way more features than my old fluke 77 which is why I switched. However I feel it is not as ergonomic or convenient to grab and use as my 77 was, it is slightly bigger and more square. This is really a trivial complaint, just wanted to note it. The second complaint which is also kind of trivial, my old 77 when checking resistance will ohm out to 0 ohms when touching the test leads together, and when using the exact same test leads with this meter it only goes to 0.2 ohms. Now that's nothing to sneeze over, it just bugs me because I like to be as precise as possible. Anyways as far as price for what you get, hands down unbeatable and incomparable. ... show more

Have used cheaper meters for a long time and keep blowing fuses. Fuse does not blow(slow burn fuse), like all the functions and easy fo use.

I purchased this to replace a Fluke 88 that I bought more than 25 years ago. I was hesitant to buy because some reviews and online sources said this was no longer made in USA. They were wrong- This is definitely still a USA-made meter and definitely the best meter on the market and worth the money. I fully expect this meter to last me for the next 25 working years! I use this meter for my business every day so it was tough to be without my old meter when it died. Amazon Prime had the best price for this kit and delivered it in less than 2 days and I put it to use immediately! ... show more
