Description

Help Eliminate nuisance flies and beetles from your livestock premises with Elector PSP Premise Insect Control Agent. For use in and around the resting areas of beef and dairy cattle, swine and poultry, this insecticide is effective against darkling beetles, hide beetles, house flies (adult and larvae), stable flies and little house flies. Elector PSP can also be applied directly to poultry to control northern fowl mites. Elector PSP insect control agent is intended to be mixed with water and applied as a course or low- pressure spray. It can be applied as a general surface spray or a crack and crevice application in and around poultry houses, beef and dairy barns, feedlots, stables, corrals, housing structures and more. Elector PSP Premise Insect Control Agent is an adulticide and a larvicide. Okay, so the product is expensive for what seems like a very small amount. However, it’s highly concentrated and only takes a small amount mixed with water. I purchased this to help with what I’ll call a mite issue on our chickens and in their coop. I used this as both a dunk/bath for the girls, and a spray from a pump style garden sprayer. This product works very well at least for this use, and it’s fairly easy to use. It seems to be a safe product, with the only creature the instructions say it’s toxic too are mollusks. ... show more

    • The best for chickens
I love elector PSP. I always try to use it after bees and other beneficial bugs go to bed since it can kill them if they get into it while it's wet. KNOW THAT THIS DOES NOT KILL MITE EGGS if you are using it for chickens. I've seen a lot of people say it is an all in one killer of mites and it isn't. It works great for Northern Fowl Mites and Scaly Leg Mites but I don't typically recommend for Red Mites due to the difficulty of getting rid of Red Mites with chickens. I also often hear people say this isn't economical, but this bottle will last me basically a lifetime for less than $150. That equates to about $5 per time I treat my entire flock and the coop (I have 20 birds). It is the most economical treatment that is an organic answer to the mite issue. This is also really easy to use and doesn't smell almost at all. I got the bottle and it never leaked, it was properly sealed like I was buying it at the store. I used it twice to treat for northern fowl mites and it worked great. ... show more

    • Expensive but worth it
I hated dropping this much money but I had mites in my coop and egg production had gone way down. It was easy to use to treat the birds and the coop. One application and the mites are gone!

Had mites on our egg laying chickens. Treated and mites died off almost immediately. Treated two weeks later to be certain they were gone but still didn’t see any. Great stuff. Dilute it, lasts a long time.

    • Effectiveness of Elector psp.
We did not spray directly into cracks, seams, and crevaces, and we still had live black mites 3 days later. We then sprayed every hiding place and then they were gone. There was a learning curve.

    • Outstanding product
So thankful for this product! Had my first experience with mites in Oct 2025. Used this product according to directions in coop , pen and misted the chickens. As of Feb 2026, I have not seen any signs of recurrence. There is an odor-not over powering- therefore I wore a mask and gloves during application. There was no bottle leakage and had no trouble mixing. As a note, I pulled my coop and pen apart and exposed all to sunlight and ESP. Mites love to hide in wood! ESP is now part of my biosecurity plan. ... show more
