The hose that I received (and ordered - something got mixed up between order, fulfillment and what Amazon recorded as ordered) is actually a 3-foot long metal hose - just what I wanted. It is very nice and is good value for the money. It would work well as an extension or for when you just need a short, kink-free, durable hose. It holds up to high pressure and connects smoothly. It comes with 2 spare gaskets and the fittings are made of good quality brass with an easy-turn fastener. As gardening season starts, I am looking forward to using this handy hose. ... show more

Very light, but hose twists. For 50 ft length, it was very difficult to stretch out straight. It kept kinking. I wish I had purchased a smaller size.
