The hose failed after a few years of moderate use. The product claimed it had a lifetime replacement guarantee, but there is no way to contact the seller on Amazon. When I reached out to Flexihose directly, they initially sent me an AI generated response saying I had to contact the seller on Amazon which is apparently impossible. When I let them know I couldn’t find a way to contact the seller on Amazon, an actual customer service agent did offer to send me a silver bullet hose as a replacement. So in the end they did honor the warranty.

I purchased this hose in June of 2020. A few weeks ago (Aug 2022) it started to leak at the end by the connections. It has been a wonderful hose. It is light and easy to store for the winter. I remembered the warranty on it and contacted their customer service by email. After I sent the message, I figured that i would not hear anything back. I checked my email the next day and I received an email from "Perch". He wanted info on my purchase date, how the hose was damaged along with some pictures. He also wanted to know the serial number and lot number from the box. I of course no longer had the box. I figured that nothing would happen, but I took the pictures and sent in the info requested. I let him know that I did not have the serial number. Twelve minutes after I sent the email, I got a reply stating that my new hose was on the way. I received it in two days. All I can say is that if you want a fantastic hose by a company that stands behind their product buy this one.

Durability unknown at this point but I sure like the light weight and ability to maneuver it. I am releasing pressure on it every time I shut it off so we'll see how well it holds up. The hose threads are short and it would not fit my Harbor Freight nozzle unless I doubled the washers, but the one that came with it did fit it and will do for now. Update: My Flexi hose failed today after 2.5 years. I took pains to drain the hose after every use to relieve pressure because I knew they were vulnerable. However I did not account for one thing, it failing due to its own weight. I had a conventional hose attached to the faucet and that hose wound on a reel. The FlexiHose connected to that regular hose and was stored back on the concrete about 3 feel away. That was the undoing. The weight of that FlexiHose bridging that gap caused the interior Latex to stretch over time and then ultimately fail. It failed due to its own weight. I subtracted a STAR for that failing. In using these hoses I think one should have a rubber hose leader off the faucet, then connect the expandable hose to that and keep the whole thing on the ground and not hanging anywhere. Too late for me, maybe it will help you.

I take great care of my garden products. And I live where it only gets used about 4 or 5 months a year (infrequently at that) and packed away for the winter. The hose leaks horrible from the bib end. I notified the company and they were non responsive to the "Lifetime Replacement Guarantee". I still have the box with the logo on it. This is one of the more expensive hoses on Amazon - I DO NOT recommend it. In this case you DON'T get what you pay for. I've had less expensive hoses last a lot longer .

Absolutely love this hose. We live in a condo with our plants on a patio which does not have a water outlet. We added a double outlet to the washing machine water source so that we could use the normal hose attachment. It easily reaches out from our kitchen to our two patios, yet springs back to a small hose when empty so that it stores easily in the tiny storage spot beside our washing machine. Doesn't tangle, and the material it's made from doesn't harm or dirty the wood and carpeted floors it has to traverse from faucet to patio. Any other normal hose would take too much space and probably ruin our floors. Sure beats hauling countless watering cans. Actually does make having plants on our patio much more enjoyable. We've had it nearly a year, and it is still like new. We do store in inside out of the sun. We just love it and so grateful for this option.

We purchased this item for use with livestock during the winter months when a regular garden hose cannot be used because of freezing temps. This was a much less expensive option to a heated hose. So far, this hose is incredibly easy to use and is working really well. We simply attach it to the hydrant in the barn, only raise the hydrant handle half way so as to not blow the hose out by the extremely strong water pressure, fill water tanks and buckets accordingly, and after turning off the water the hose shrinks back down and goes into a small bucket so it can be easily carried back up to the house and kept inside until the next use. This has greatly simplified our water problems in the winter in Michigan for livestock. Because this hose is not designed to handle strong water pressure, we do not plan on using it in the warmer months, but during the winter this has turned into an arm/back/neck saver by getting water where needed without lugging it in 5-gallon buckets.

This hose worked well for 3 years with just a minor leak. Now at nearly 4 years, the leaks Have multiplied and will have to replace.
