Description

How To Use: -Install the sprinkler head, flip the U-shaped wire that triggers the sprinkler to go in one direction then another. It flips up and allows sprinkler to go the full 360. -Adjust the legs to different heights with the quick release leg clips according to your requirements. Spread the legs out as far as they go and tighten the adjust knob to avoid tip over. -Connect a water hose to the hose attachment with a gasket sealed and twist connection. Made of solid alloy metal. Not only looks polished but is robust much more sturdy. Goose neck hose attachment for easy to connect hose. With filter washer in it, filter sand and gravel to reduce he possibility of nozzle clogging. Can be tightened and loosened quickly for easy installation and removal. Quick release leg clips allow legs to be extended and locked securely into place easily. Which can be fixed well and protect the tripod from corrosion. Covered with non-slip rubber on the top to protect and secure the impact sprinkler. Internal use of thread connection for a long term use. No Water Output Upon First Use. Check for clogs from debris, residues, or particles in the nozzle or internal pathways. Clear obstructions gently with a soft brush or small pin. Sudden Loss of Water Output During Use. Inspect hose-sprinkler connections for accumulated dirt/debris; rinse and brush clean. Check for hose kinks/folds and straighten to restore flow. Sprinkler Rotates but Fails to Return. Gently twist rotating part by hand. If stuck, dirt, grime or minerals are likely the cause. Clean with mild soapy water, rinse, dry. Use long-nose pliers to gently pull trip mechanism outward. May release internal binding from debris or stuck spring. Insufficient Watering Range Extend tripod legs to maximum height to elevate the sprinkler. If needed, increase water pressure to widen coverage.

Living the suburban dad dream. Owning the neighbors with tripod-ed turret of water distribution near-perfection. Really minimizes the number of times I have to move the sprinkler because it covers so well. I don’t have great water pressure, but you’d never know it. Sometimes it is a little too much. Seriously, needs to chill sometimes. Minus one star because the connector for the hose is as cheap as it gets. The rest of the items lightweight, but it generally stays stable which is more than I can say for others I’ve tried. ... show more

I almost bought the same sprinkler from Lowes for $59.99 but decided the one on Amazon first and boy did i make the right decision. The only thing I regret is not buying the 2 on amazon for $59.99. This is easy to set up. Instruction on change the spray are easy to understand when you turn on water and play with it! To make it simple the screw close to water stream screws in to touch the water and causes more of a spray if screwed out not to touch the water it’s more of a straight line that reaches further. Also to control water to small area vs 360 degrees you have to flip the attachment down and move the stoppers on each side ... show more

I like everything about this sprinkler except for one very important thing. No matter how I try to adjust the spray, it sprays around the circumference of the circle (or partial circle), but puts down little water between the sprinkler and the area where the water hits the circle. I’ve adjusted the screw and that seems to make little difference. I’ve tried to adjust the baffle that should change the reach of the water. That doesn’t work because the water pressure just flips it back out of the way. I’ve adjusted the water pressure at the faucet. That doesn’t work well because the force of water exiting the sprinkler stays the same until the faucet is turned very low and when that happens, the sprinkler head will stop swiveling and just dump water on one spot. If the controls on the sprinkler worked as advertised, this would be a perfect tool for watering my yard. One other issue is the input connector for the hose. This comes with a gasket and mesh to seal the connection and keep debris from the sprinkler head. You must be especially vigilant when disconnecting the hose because that gasket and mesh will not stay in place and will fall out. There needs to be an improvement in design to keep this from happening. I love this sprinkler, but am very disappointed in the spray. I’ve had impact sprinklers in the past and did not have this problem. ... show more

Bought 2 which were delivered on time and undamaged. I priced the orbit brand tripod sprinkler at Lowes and found it more expensive with what appears to be same manufacturer construction. I mean like identical. As my water is fed by a well pump through a pressure tank there is not a constant exact pressure flow. However, since I am irrigating a small (85 x 220') fenced pasture, 2 of these have worked very well. I DID have 2 small problems due to the screened washer at the hose connection getting a build-up and restricting flow and it leaked at that connection because the washer bunched up and did not seal correctly. I replaced the washer with a much better one I had in a parts drawer and both problems solved. The tripod works perfectly, the sprinkler head functions as expected, and this unit works much better than the 2 stab-in-the-ground sprinklers that kept breaking when I had to move them. These are easy to move to any new location and are very stable, even in some of our Texas winds. I recommend update: one week after posting the above review, one of the sprinklers stopped sprinkling and rotating. Because we are on a well I thought perhaps it was minerals, but I took the head off and there was no obstruction. I DID , however , notice that there is an orifice non the sprinkler that can be removed with a 10mm wrench. The threaded orifice has a finned restrictor in it. A small piece of grass had become lodged in it blocking the flow of water. A quick and easy fix, and the sprinkler was back to full operation. Because I removed the screen that would have prevented the blockage and replaced it with a non-screened washer, I guess this one's on me. :) update: After the first month, I put one of the 2 away for future use as 1 sprinkler seemed to be enough. At the end of 6 months I found the aluminum coupler at the hose connection had oxidized so badly that it had begun to leak. Upon further inspection, the aluminum and brass connections had fused and were a total loss. I had to get my grinder out, cut the aluminum pipe square and put a length of garden hose on to make a new connection. One week later, the plastic collar that holds the 3 legs to adjust height broke from sun exposure and I had to bailing wire that up till I fabricate a new collar. Probably make one out of sheet-metal. All in all, I believe the materials used are inferior and not able to stand any test of time. However, I have a small ranch, and even though I have this thing fully jury-rigged, it spreads water. Of note: If you have aluminum hose connections, only pair them with plastic connections. Otherwise since aluminum oxidizes so quickly you will have your connections fuse and not be able to undo them. SO, brass to brass... excellent aluminum to aluminum or brass... not advised aluminum to plastic..... best second choice ... show more
