  • Excellent sprinklers
Item Package Quantity: 2
Excellent sprinkler system especially for a new lawn. It's sturdy and works very well. It's size makes it easy to be seen and people don't trip over it whenever it's placed. Well pleased and would purchase again.

  • I am using it on my roof
Item Package Quantity: 1
This is the second one I have ordered. The first one I put on my house roof as a fire safety. This second one I bought for the top of my detached garage. It seems sturdy and works well as far as the water spray and distance that is adjustable. I deducted one star...on this one because it is almost impossible to lift the pin that would allow 360 degree coverage. I gave up and just set the "stop" pins together so basically instead of going around in circles it hits the pin and tuns back. Still covering the same area but going back and forth rather than continuing around. It was just a frustration for me but since it does what needs to be done I have kept it. If you put it on a steepled roof as I have, you will most likely need to add a weight to it so it doesn't fly off when you turn the water on. I hung a dumbbell weight on mine with a zip tie. We live in a "high fire" zone so I am doing what I can. This sprinkler seems just what I need and, of course, it would be just as helpful on the ground where it is intended. I am contemplating getting another one in order to have the height to get over ground plants in order to reach the entire yard. ... show more

  • It's sturdy, but the sprinkler head seemed a little cheap.
Item Package Quantity: 1
I would say this is a pretty standard sprinkler, it's high impact and the tripod is sturdy. I ultimately decided to return it because it would not consistently oscillate. Every time I turned it off and on again I had to situate the sprinkler head again and try to get it to properly reset itself so it would go back and forth. It's easy to set up, adjustable and easy to move around as long as you get one that's not faulty. ... show more

  • Good customer service
Item Package Quantity: 1
Update, seller corrected this issue. Therefore adjusted my rating. Sprinkler head will not spin. Cleaned and oiled it. It work for 5 minutes than stopped. We throw away the box, so would have to purchase a new box to return. Should not cost me any money to return an item. Very disappointing.

  • Great sprinkler for medium to large areas.
Item Package Quantity: 2
Just had my lawn re-sodded and needed constant watering. These sprinklers were a great choice as they could cover a large area, and the price was good.

  • One month review
Item Package Quantity: 2
Bought 2 which were delivered on time and undamaged. I priced the orbit brand tripod sprinkler at Lowes and found it more expensive with what appears to be same manufacturer construction. I mean like identical. As my water is fed by a well pump through a pressure tank there is not a constant exact pressure flow. However, since I am irrigating a small (85 x 220') fenced pasture, 2 of these have worked very well. I DID have 2 small problems due to the screened washer at the hose connection getting a build-up and restricting flow and it leaked at that connection because the washer bunched up and did not seal correctly. I replaced the washer with a much better one I had in a parts drawer and both problems solved. The tripod works perfectly, the sprinkler head functions as expected, and this unit works much better than the 2 stab-in-the-ground sprinklers that kept breaking when I had to move them. These are easy to move to any new location and are very stable, even in some of our Texas winds. I recommend update: one week after posting the above review, one of the sprinklers stopped sprinkling and rotating. Because we are on a well I thought perhaps it was minerals, but I took the head off and there was no obstruction. I DID , however , notice that there is an orifice non the sprinkler that can be removed with a 10mm wrench. The threaded orifice has a finned restrictor in it. A small piece of grass had become lodged in it blocking the flow of water. A quick and easy fix, and the sprinkler was back to full operation. Because I removed the screen that would have prevented the blockage and replaced it with a non-screened washer, I guess this one's on me. :) update: After the first month, I put one of the 2 away for future use as 1 sprinkler seemed to be enough. At the end of 6 months I found the aluminum coupler at the hose connection had oxidized so badly that it had begun to leak. Upon further inspection, the aluminum and brass connections had fused and were a total loss. I had to get my grinder out, cut the aluminum pipe square and put a length of garden hose on to make a new connection. One week later, the plastic collar that holds the 3 legs to adjust height broke from sun exposure and I had to bailing wire that up till I fabricate a new collar. Probably make one out of sheet-metal. All in all, I believe the materials used are inferior and not able to stand any test of time. However, I have a small ranch, and even though I have this thing fully jury-rigged, it spreads water. Of note: If you have aluminum hose connections, only pair them with plastic connections. Otherwise since aluminum oxidizes so quickly you will have your connections fuse and not be able to undo them. SO, brass to brass... excellent aluminum to aluminum or brass... not advised aluminum to plastic..... best second choice ... show more
