Pretty cool to come with a comb attachment but it's not made to comb through your hair while it's being straightened. The color of the flat iron is a very nice obvious gold color. This Gold hair straightener heats up quickly and is ready to go in under a minute. The Flat iron comes with attachments which you can use to comb your hair while straightening it but I didn't feel like it made much of a difference for me. The plates are wide enough to cover a lot of hair at one time. The temperature dial was a bit cheap looking to me and although you can change the temperature by turning the dial it doesn't tell you what temperature the numbers are associated with. The locking feature is nice to keep the plates together and avoids accidentally being turned on. overall this is a nice hair straightner for cheap and will straighten your hair without all the fancy bells and whistles of a more expensive one. ... show more

Overall, this is a very nice hair straightener. The plates glide through my hair with ease and the size of the plates is great. A lot of surface area with them so the job gets done quicker. There weren’t any areas that I found were snagging my hair either. I love that there’s a locking feature on this straightener as it makes storage easier. My main complaint is the temperature setting it’s just a little dial and it’s extremely difficult with the naked eye to see what setting it is at since the numbers are printed in the same color as the dial is made. I’ll probably take a sharpie and make a line on the dial so I know where to set it at. I didn’t use the anti-scald attachment as I didn’t find the need for it personally. ... show more

This flat iron works very well. Because the plate is very smooth, it doesn’t pull my hair. I like that there is a temperature control dial which has 4 settings ranging from 180 ℉ to 450 ℉.
