I compared the Air Straight to the Corrale and due to my hair type (fine) I went with the Corrale. (The Air Straight seemed to be better for thicker hair.) I have other Dyson products and love them all, so decided to give it a try. I have had this straightener for about 2 weeks now and I love it. Yes, it is a bit heavier than a corded flat iron but it's so nice that it is wireless. If you do run low on a charge, it can be used plugged in while charging. I have not had any issues with not having enough time to straighten on a full charge as some people have said in reviews. I will start with I own 4 Dyson vacuums so I love the brand . Yes I need all 4! I had been struggling with my getting ready routine and hair tools. I decided to read up throughly on the cordless straightener made by Dyson then pulled the trigger. I'm absolutely in love with it and has boosted my getting ready routine especially when it's sitting pretty on the stand on my bath counter . This product feels like it weighs as much as a Mac Book Pro. The Amazon description does not provide that infomation. I never tried using the Dyson Hair Straightner due to dissatisfaction with the significant weight issue. Trying to return the product is also a challenge. The seller does not allow for it to be returned to a UPS drop off location. You must "schedule" a delivery pick-up and personally sign to return the product. Of course when you "schedule" a pick-up there is no date or time provided so you must ensure you have nothing else to do but wait for UPS. I have a babyliss pro flat iron. Then decided to get this. It is easy to use wired and wireless. It heats up to 410 very fast. My hair is naturally curly. It straightens my dried hair in two fast runs or one slow run. Wireless part makes it convenient. I watch TV while straightening my hair. Hair doesnt get pulled by the iron. However, by the time I am done the battery gets down to 3/4. It also has an airplane mode due to its battery type, so it can be carried on a plane. I am very satisfied with it. It keeps a good battery charge and allows you to use it while charging. I've only used it for curls which turned out very cute. They did not hold, though and I do not live in a humid area.
