This is the highest tier of flat iron I have ever used, and it produced PROFESSIONAL results. Results were giving SILK, bone straight and smooth hair. It lasted so long. For reference, I have waist-length high-density fine 3c/4a natural hair with highlights. I had zero heat damage, and I blow-dried my hair with my Dyson using the comb attachment and then flat ironed my hair on 380 degrees. I did one pass using the chase method with a fine-tooth comb. I’m a Hispanic female with textured hair( thick, wavy and curly) definitely a 3A/3B and enough hair for two women! The flat iron is in a class by itself. I have a HSI ceramic plated flat iron that I’ve used for over 12 years if not more. The temperature setting that I used is 380 and 2-3 passes to get my hair straight. Does not straighten my hair. I have to repeatedly go through the same section and still end up frizzy. I took it to my hair stylist who uses the same brand. She identified mine does not have enough tension to grip the hair for smoothness. Paid way too much for this product that really never worked from the start and is now out of the return window.
