I am absolutely thrilled with my recent watch purchase! This timepiece has not only met but exceeded my expectations in every way. Here are some of the reasons why I consider it a 5-star purchase: 1. **Elegant Design:** The watch's design is simply stunning. It's a perfect blend of classic and contemporary styles, making it suitable for any occasion, whether it's a formal event or casual day out. 2. **High-Quality Build:** The craftsmanship and build quality are exceptional. This watch feels solid, and the materials used are of top-notch quality, ensuring that it will last for years to come. 3. **Precision Timekeeping:** The watch's movement is incredibly accurate, and I haven't had to reset the time since I first set it. It's reliable and keeps perfect time. 4. **Comfortable Fit:** It's not just about looking good; the watch is also comfortable to wear. The strap is soft and doesn't cause any irritation even after prolonged use. 5. **Versatile Features:** This watch has a variety of useful features, from the date function to the luminous hands, which make it practical for daily use. 6. **Impressive Packaging:** The packaging was as delightful as the watch itself. It came in an elegant box that made unboxing the watch feel like a special occasion. 7. **Great Value:** Given the quality and features, the price of this watch is extremely competitive. It's a remarkable value for the investment. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I get compliments on this watch every time I wear it. It's more than just an accessory; it's a statement piece that adds a touch of sophistication to my everyday life. If you're in the market for a high-quality watch that combines style, functionality, and value, I wholeheartedly recommend considering this timepiece. • Beautiful, light, easy to read
Color: Silver-Tone Bracelet & Blue Dial
Great price, almost half of what it goes for at the Citizen website. Classy and casual at the same time. I love the blue/navy face and the titanium is very cool. I never had a titanium watch before. So far it has been tough to scratch (case and band) and it SHOULD have scratched when I stupidly tried to size the bracelet myself and the awl slipped. It's very comfortable and light and does not irritate the back of my hand if it's a little loose (which I like to do) as many heavier watches do. As far as I'm concerned it's almost the perfect watch. The only thing that would make it better is the Satellite Wave functionality which sets the time quickly and switches time zones for you when you travel. Those are beautiful as well and I have a few of them. I highly recommend this watch. I love watches, have a bunch, but I can't see paying $10,000 for an Omega or Rolex (I'm not *that* enthusiastic about watches, I'd rather spend that kind of money on a trip to Hawaii or a cruise). I would definitely buy this watch again if I had it to do over. ... show more

  • Nice product but hard to follow the non included instructions
Color: Silver-Tone Bracelet & Green Dial
I love how light the Titanium on this device is. Only on very bright days we can tell the watch face is green. It looks indoors as if the face was black but it is ok. It is very easy to adjust to the wrist as I have a watch adjustment kit but it is also easily adjusted by any watch repair shop in minutes. Now the programming is not that easy at the beginning but once you get the hang of it it becomes of course easier. I had to use the computer as my iphones (2 of them ) had issues downloading the pdf instructions. It says it is 100 meters waterproof but I would not take it snorkling . I bathed with it and it seems fine but I cannot see a rubber seal on the watch knobs so I would not risk it. I have a diver watch to go to the beach and this one replaces the wear of my expensive OMEGA speedmaster. I had to allow for it to charge before attempting to paly with setting it up so I used a lamp I have and left my two citizens charging at the same time with a small portable lamp. The dullness of the color of the Titanium is very nice. The hands are the most seen in the dark when going to sleep and they can be seen althought faintly in the dark at 3 am when getting up for whatever reason. I can say again that the watch is super light and I love that. I have plenty of watches and this one is definitely the biggest and lightest... I have bigger but not even close to this light in weight. It is a new daily watch. to use the other functions it is very intuitive now that I was able to set it up... it took me a while but no problem. pull the crown once out , set the function , push the crown back in and use the function on the watch. Two hours, one local and one when traveling. To use it locally set the dial at local... and so forth. It does have an alarm that I have not setup as of yet as I have other means for setting alarms in other devices but if I needed it I have it. No batteries to change and so far my other one has worked fine for 5 years... will see how long this one lasts... One small detail I am noticing, if you dont set the time in minutes when your reference hits the number it seems as if uou are a minute late so I am setting it a minute ahead compared to the cell… My two cents ... show more

  • The titanium dilemma solved
Color: Silver-Tone Bracelet & Blue Dial
I love titanium watches. The look, the feel, the weight, the strength. The scratches? Not so much. Plain titanium is a scratch magnet, it can be buffed out, but many ti watches have a coating, and once that's scratched the whole case has to be buffed down to pure titanium. I had a relatively inexpensive Breitling Aerospace, but gave it to my dad...I had alot of Breitling Avengers, and those were great, looking tougher the more the ti got scuffed. But for a daily wear, I'm older and want a thinner watch. I have a 9000 dollar panerai in ti, but never wear it because it's mint and perfect and I just can't scratch it. Enter Citizen! They're super ti seems pretty impervious to scratches, and I don't care because it's under 500 bucks. I bought both the green and the blue and black and they are my ranch watches. Just can't do plastic watches, unless I'm riding in a 5-ton... So these check the boxes, super good looking, super accurate, solar, inexpensive, and all the benefits of a really good Titanium. Love them... ... show more

  • Stylish, durable, and most importantly (to me), keeps good time and keeps running.
Color: Silver-Tone Bracelet & Blue Dial
I bought this to replace a Seiko 5 men's watch (SNZH55) that I wasn't wearing every day, which consequently meant that its self-winding feature wasn't getting enough energy from me wearing it to keep it running. Pretty much every time I picked it up, it had stopped and so I had to set it, wind it, and then wear it. This watch solves that problem completely. The solar power means that as long as it's not in a drawer or stored face-down on a desk, it's getting some power from ambient light, and that's enough to keep it running. I probably wear it every second day (one day on, one day off), and the days when I wear it I'm not wearing it for the whole day. It has not run down yet. Also, the timekeeping is very accurate. I haven't set it for months, and I didn't set it to exactly the correct second, but it was +/- one minute accurate when I did set it last. (I don't remember exactly; I don't really need it to be perfectly synced with the real world, as long as it doesn't gain or lose time very quickly.) Right now it's about 15 seconds fast, which means that it's still +/- one minute. That's very good as far as I'm concerned. I really like the way it looks, too. My only gripes would be that (a) I'm used to cheaper, lower-quality watches, so it's the most expensive one I've ever bought, but I'm not a fancy-watch guy so it's probably a good value; (b) adjusting the watchband links was harder than with the Seiko 5. I had to buy a watchband adjusting toolkit and it was still barely possible for me to do. My advice is to just take it to a watch repair specialist and get them to do it. They'll do it in seconds with the right tools. ... show more

  • My favorite watch
Color: Black Leather Strap & Black Dial
This is a challenging watch to set up initially. While there’s a video on the Citizen app, it wasn’t particularly helpful for me. I ended up on YouTube and watched a demo for another Citizen watch that had similar features. Despite the initial setup difficulties, the watch itself is a great investment. It looks fantastic on your wrist and exudes a sense of quality. The watch is well-crafted, visually appealing, and surprisingly lightweight. It’s an eye-catching accessory that adds a touch of sophistication to your outfit. ... show more

  • From a digital watch fan From a digital watch fan
Color: Silver-Tone Bracelet & Green Dial
I've always preferred a digital display, so when I fell in love with the dial of this watch I knew there was some compromise to be had. I'll put this down to a few numbered points. 1. I've been wearing a digital watch daily for years so learning to read an analog watch can take a bit of time, but I've found that the numeric minute markers on the dial help quite a bit when I am used to quickly identifying what time it is. They are a nice feature of some watches and I find them very legible at a glance. 2. The finish on mine is gorgeous. I thought for a second about taking it to work with me since I have a pretty labor-intensive career(I knock my other watches around quite a lot), but decided not to be precious with it. I'm so glad I did because this thing has taken a beating and barely has a single scratch on the clasp. 3. Being an ECO-Drive watch means I don't need to change a battery as long as I get the sun I need daily anyway. This is an issue for some who put their watches away in a drawer for quite a while(months at a time) when they get other daily wear. I use a clear watch display with a window in view, so it'll never be an issue for me. Something to think about if you're one of the drawer crowd. Overall, this has been a terrific purchase in my opinion, and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in getting a lot of watch for your money. ... show more

  • Rather difficult to set it initially Rather difficult to set it initially
Color: Silver-Tone Bracelet & Blue Dial
The watch itself is very good looking, accurate, extremely light weight, comfortable on the wrist, gentle on the skin, not too pricey, and once set it should work flawlessly for many years. There is no need to manually adjusting the dates every other month, as the initial calibration includes entering the day, month, and also the number of years that have passed since the last leap year. Users will still need to manually adjust the time twice a year, when switching between summer savings time and winter time and vice versa. However, to insert all of the information into this analog watch is not an easy task. I had to use multiple videos on YouTube to learn how to do that, and even then it took me several attempts and a lot of time. It is a pity that Citizen does not provide decent instructions in the box (buyers are asked to scan a QR code and then download an app, and then search there for the instructions, which I could not find). Well, I am glad I succeeded eventually, so the main struggle is behind me. Took off 3 links from the bracelet (with the help of a jeweler) and it fits my wrist nice. Overall, very good purchase for someone that wants a reliable 43 mm watch, water resistant (100 meters should be fine for non pro divers), that is barely felt when wearing it). ... show more
