Saw this headset dropped to $20 from $60. Picked up it as my last headsets (two logitech G series) both broke off on one ear and ended up being dangly. The packaging is pretty barebones. You get the headset, a few manuals and a 3.5mm cable where a longer end goes into the headset and the other goes into your 3.5mm jack of choice. In this case I will be using a PS5 controller. The headset is powered by the controller - you simply plug it in and you'll be able to hear everything. I believe it is stereo sound when plugged into the microphone. This can be improved to 7.1 surround sound with a mixamp or some other attachments that don't come with the headset I believe. The sound is good. I can hear enemies and footsteps clearly. I've used this headset to play MW2 and I will attribute my poor performance to the sound in this game being horrible lol. The headset sounds fine from what I can tell after using it to browse on my PC and listen to music as well. I just suck. The mic is absolute trash. I would not buy this headset with the intent to communicate with others. If my game volume is too loud, it will simply bleed through the mic. For now I am sticking with the default PS5 controller microphone. That being said, the build quality looks solid - I feel that this headset will last longer than my two Logitechs. Astro has long been a brand I have nothing but good things to say about starting with their A40s back in the early Halo days, so when I saw them offering a "budget" headset I had to give them a try and so far I am happy. I would definitely purchase another one in a year or two if this one ends up breaking and the product is offered at the same price point.

(Slight tldr pros and cons below) I’ve had the first gen since 2018 and when I saw the second gen I just had to get them and put old reliable in retirement. As of first getting the gen 2 and writing this review I have loved the 2 gen. Both comfortable and light as well as decent color selection but it’s easier if I do pros and cons Pros 1. Super durable I have twisted them and put them to the test just like my first and still retained it’s shape and no signs of cracks anywhere 2. Comfortability I have worn these headsets for hours on in and I can say for sure it feels like I’m not even wearing them but still feel really secure to my head 3. Easy to clean (can’t say how easy since I have no need to clean them yet other than hair 4. Price I mean you can’t beat a good durable headset for 40-60$ 5. Compatibility works great on my PC, Xbox and my switch but I hardly use headphones for the switch anyways And now onto some cons 1. The headphone jack (atleast for gen 1) is like playing Russian roulette could work up to a year or break next month most notably the audio slider could have it all the way up and only one ear has audio slightly bring it down and both work (recommend getting spare cords Amazon does sell them) 2. Lack of options (more a personal attack) wish there were options for no mics or wireless since I use a different mic for talking And lastly mixed opinion is the audio some say it’s best for single player. I play a lot of games that sound is key such as escape from Tarkov, day z and so on. I personally have not faced such an issue where this headset would struggle I could still pinpoint where gunfire and explosion happen no matter how chaotic with both gen 1 and 2 As of now this is all I can think of I’ll update as I go on but for now I recommend this headset with a just the acceptation of being prepared to buy spare audio cables for the headset.

I have been hunting for a headset that will fit me! Most of them are able to fit standard men’s size heads but as an adult woman, I have a pretty small head and can never find a set to fit. This one is so comfy, covers my ears perfectly and sits just right on my head on the smallest adjustment. The sound quality is great and according to friends the mic is great too.

I've been purchasing this A10 series for a few years now. But this particular purchase seems off. First of all its extremely bass sounding with no kids or highs and no way to adjust them other than volume on the PlayStation 4. What am I missing here?

Was genuinely so concerned and pissed off that this wasn’t working. Then I realized, you have to push the cord slightly harder into the headphone Jack till you hear it click. If that doesn’t work, adjust the volume settings on your system and you should be set. Great product, awesome quality, very comfortable and the noise from my end is perfectly clear.

These feel extremely small and tight. Not uncomfortable, but it’s almost an exact fit. They sound good. I switched from audio technica and don’t notice a difference. Overall good for the price.

Great headphones, super comfortable too and a really cute design!! the headphones’ volume is a little low compared to previous ones I had in the past, i had to turn up my headphones volume through my console settings which I have never had to do before… still really good headphones.

I really love this headset and I wish I was fully sold on it, the sound is pretty good and clear. The only draw back I have on it, is that even when muted the mic will pick up on sounds. If I could figure out why it does that every so often, I would rate it 5 stars. It is very comfortable, and doesn’t have any pressure points that after awhile hurt your head like other headsets do.
