My kids want it for gaming, but my husband wants to use it when he works from home because it is so comfortable! It takes some time to assemble, but the instructions are clear. I purchased this for my boyfriend. He sent this to me and I've copied and pasted it verbatim: I tried to like it, I really did. I adjusted it as much as I could, but... Just no. I spent time gaming in it to see how that would feel, and it was miserable. I felt like i was sitting on a furnace, as it has absolutely no breathability that a chair that will hold an ass for prolonged periods of time should have. The backs of my knees were drenched in sweat, which hasn't happened to me since the military. The "pillows" have no squish to them, so it brings back the memories of resting on rocks in the field to get some "good" shut eye. I tried painting miniatures in it, and while the fact that you can actually lock it back is nice, it takes the force of a thousand cosmic explosions to put it back and the sound it makes is like nails on a chalkboard, only the chalkboard is your eardrum and the nails are machine guns firing at a cyclic rate until the barrels melt. And putting it together requires more effort and strength than most gamers can muster, and the instructions take a master's degree in engineering to figure out. (Feel free to us all of this in the review, give it a star because it is acts like a freaking chair). UPDATE from the bf 12/21/2020 Once it's broken in, it does not take a thousand cosmic explosions to lock the chair back, And it does not sound like nails on a chalkboard whenever you adjust it. It still feels like a furnace, and it is a fart flavor saver. I have not used the pillows so my view cannot change on that. Give it 4 stars instead of 1. ... show more

This gaming chair is a great replacement for my old chair I got it assembled in about 20 minutes. Really easy process I just followed the instructions. All tools were provided Im 6 ft and about 200 lb and I feel comfortable using this chair for hours. Build quality is pretty good. I don’t hear and noise while moving the chair up, down, left or right The design is pretty cool and its all leather made. I work from home and this chair is a great mix or firmness and comfort that I don’t end my day in pain. I am a leg sitter too so using the leg rest pushed all the way up to the seat allows me to sit Indian style and not have my legs fall asleep. Never used the massager. I actually put my previous back rest on it and moved the massager one up so there’s great back support. This was a great buy. 1year update: Have had this for a year now and still love it. I like the chair but it has some faults. It was great at first, but the lumbar support pillow and the head pillow are very uncomfortable. The lumbar support pushes my back too far and the head pillow doesn’t line up with my head (I’m 6 feet tall). The armrests are kind of short so when you are reclined it’s uncomfortable to use them. I’ve considered switching the armrests so that they are longer in the back than in the front but haven’t tried it. The leg rest is good, nothing to note about it. It creaks a lot and the armrests click loudly so don’t expect to be stealthy with this chair. I’ve owned and used the chair for two months now and the cushion is already flat where I sit so that’s annoying. Other than that, it’s great. Love the upright 90 degree angle and the footrest and reclining feature is fantastic. But I fear the longevity of this chair is short. ... show more
