We really liked the price, look, and comfort of these chairs when we added them to our waiting room nearly 5 years ago. They've experienced moderate volume over the time we've had the chairs, but I'd also point out that part of that time was during COVID when volume in our practice was lower. As you can see from the pictures, the armrests of the chair are starting to disintegrate. We have 7 of these chair and are now looking at repairing or replacing them. While I understand that nothing lasts forever, I think they should have held up for longer than they did with the use that they've experienced. ... show more

To clear up a little confusion: - At first I did not think that it was real leather. After further inspection it appears that the bottom of the seat,the front-side of the back rest and the inside of the arms are a type of inexpensive bonded leather. The rest is a polyester type fabric that is made to match. In other words, every part of the chair that touches you as you sit is real leather. The rest is an upholstery imitation. - I purchased the white version and the color in the photo is very well represented. I would say that the actual color of the chair is just a small take more cream. Not much, certainly would not describe it as antique white. It is just a little more off white than the photo represents. - Next, assembly and durability. Make no mistake about it, this is a made in China chair with a "pre-fab" put-it-together-yourself quality. It comes with a little octogen tool for screwing in bolts just like particle board tv stand would from Walmart. So, you must properly align all the bolts and get them very tight. Any complaints reviewers have about the chair becoming wobbly is due to these bolts becoming loose over time. The verdict? For me this is the most beautiful reception chair one can find for the money. My hunch is that in a few years it may need to be replaced, but that is why I spent $100 rather than $300 to $600 on it. I immediately sealed the fabric with a Teflon type product fro protection and assume that there will not be a problem wiping it clean. It is not an easy chair yet comfortable enough. ... show more

These chairs are off-white. If you are looking for a white chair, these are not for you. Also, while I actually enjoy putting furniture and other things together, these were not enjoyable! To get the screws to line up, it took 2 of us pushing and pulling to get this accomplished. I’m going to order 2 more because I like them so well but I’m not looking forward to putting them together. With that said, once they are completed, they sit well and look great! ... show more

I ordered a couple of these for clients' waiting area at my office. They do have to be assembled, but not difficult to do. They look professional and have been sturdy (frame and fabric) over the course of a couple years. For waiting area seating, they work very well. Not sure how comfortable they would be for hours' worth of sitting, but I used one once for an entire hour and have no complaints. They are also surprisingly lightweight and very easy to clean, so great for regular rearranging or multi-room/-purpose use. May not be very comfortable for larger individuals, as the arms and frame don't have much give; seem to have no issue supporting heavier individuals though (discomfort may come from design as opposed to sturdiness, depending on body structure). The chair is really nice, soft leather and fabric that matches so well you can't tell its not leather too. The seat is firm enough for a heavier person - you never know who will come in to sit in the office. The color is as pictures, which means it matches my other leather pieces. BEST part was the service. They were easy to deal with and shipped me a set of replacement bolts for free including free shipping months after I made the purchase. I like the chairs, I have got 4 of them. They are comfy for our kitchen dining. However, the chairs came with some workmanship problems. One side of the chairs did not have the holes drilled that holds the back of the chair!. I have tried to drill it myself, however was not able to do it perfectly because the wood is hard and the drill pulls the stuffing in the chair as it drills through. I have stopped at some point. The second chair came with a little tear on the side. I am not returning the whole 4 chairs. I hope they can get me chair sides so I can replace the defective parts. Packaging was great, the tools were included. Was not a big deal for me to put the other 2 chairs together. The material is fine, but for sure not will be durable for ever because it is not leather. Very happy with these chairs especially for the price. Assembled the first one in 15 minutes. I suspect those with assembly challenges and/or complaining that the chair does not sit flat on the ground did not follow common sense in putting these together. Get all screws started but do no tighten them fully. Some pressure must be applied to the pieces to get the screws lined up (you want this, so the pieces fit tightly together). Once all screws are started but not snug, place the chair on the ground where it will be, and use some careful force to make it square with the ground. Then tighten each screw. You may need to go around the bottom screws twice to ensure all are snug. Yes, this requires you to lay on the ground under the chair. Still, the chair can be assembled in minutes if you follow common sense. ... show more
