Description

This thrilling boxed set features six books in the Tiny House Winner Cozy Mystery Series: Tiny House, Big Mystery Tiny House, Big Murder Tiny House, Big Trouble Tiny House, Big Heartache Tiny House, Big Cover-Up Tiny House, Big Crime Ring Tiny House, Big MysteryPrivate investigator Hannah Huntsford is about to win the lottery. Not the big lottery. More like a little one. A tiny one. Hannah is about to win her very own tiny house, nestled in a tiny community of other tiny homes. She doesn’t know that yet, because the draw is still a week away. Hannah has no idea her streak of bad luck is about to turn around. The hard-working, recently divorced investigator is going to be a big winner, and she’ll have first pick of three adorable tiny homes. In just one week, Hannah will pick her new dream home and start her new life. That is, assuming she survives her current case tracking down a nasty killer. Tiny House, Big Murder Hannah Huntsford is scared for her life. She's seen a lot during her time as a private investigator, but she's never stared down a murderer before until now. This wasn't the plan. It had started out as a simple infidelity investigation. Then, in the middle of Hannah's stakeout, she heard a woman's blood-curdling scream. She couldn't ignore it. She refused to turn her back on danger. Hannah ran into a neighbor's backyard. That's when she came toe to toe with a masked killer. Will Hannah find a way to cheat death? Tiny House, Big Trouble I was only inside the corner store for less than a minute before a masked man entered the front door carrying a gun. The brawny man headed directly toward the counter. A short and thin woman stood behind the register. Her name tag read “Sheila.” The armed assailant pointed his pistol at Sheila and held out a bag with his other hand. He yelled, “Empty the register.” Sheila did not immediately take the bag from the robber. Nor did she press a button on the register. Instead, she froze in place with fear. She wasn’t alone. I was on the other side of the mini-mart in the potato chip aisle. I had come in here for a snack and some lottery tickets. Until a few seconds ago, I thought it might be my lucky day. Apparently, I was dead wrong. I would be fortunate just to get out of here alive. Tiny House, Big Heartache Hannah Huntsford is still reeling from the trauma of being held at gunpoint during a robbery gone wrong when a new emergency turns her life upside down. Her private investigator boss has had a heart attack. While the doctors try to save his life, Hannah's detective boyfriend is called across town to diffuse a dangerous confrontation that is unfolding between a deranged psychiatric patient who has stormed into his therapist's house and has sinister plans for her. Will Hannah's life completely fall apart in the span of one night, or will her prayers be answered? Tiny House, Big Cover-Up Private investigator Hannah Huntsford is looking forward to settling in for a lazy Sunday at her tiny home when her detective boyfriend, Tyler O'Connor, seeks out her help in solving a murder. The victim is a prominent antiques dealer who has been adamant about not selling his prized shop to a tech mogul. As Hannah and Tyler begin investigating, they find themselves having to navigate one twist after another as they try to separate the truth from the lies. Will the investigator's be able to bring the killer to justice? Tiny House, Big Crime Ring When one of Hannah Huntsford's friends goes missing, the private investigator starts a frantic search to find her. Hannah is determined to find her friend at all costs. She's willing to risk life and limb to get answers. But even with the help of the police, are the odds too stacked against her? Can Hannah find her friend, or is all hope lost? Read more

  • A fun read
Format: Kindle
The author has created an interesting and unique group of plots to go with an imaginative group of characters making these hard to put down

  • Entertaining series.
Format: Kindle
Tiny House, Big Mystery - An interesting idea and an introduction to Hannah Huntsford. This was a fun cozy mystery, and I enjoyed Hannah's interactions as she solved the mystery. Her friend Daphne allowed for some witty moments. The idea of winning a house lottery was different. I enjoyed this quick read story. Tiny House, Big Murder - Second in the series and I enjoyed it as much as the first one. Hannah was an interesting person, and she was good at her job. Talking to herself out loud gave her a more human and humorous facet. I liked the developing relationship between her and Tyler. This was a fun read, and I look forward to more. Tiny House, Big Trouble - I enjoyed this story. It was different that the other two in this series, no real mystery to solve. Hannah found herself in a situation that could go one of two ways, and she had a chance to realize what was important. Those in her life also had the chance to figure out what matters. There was a bit of a hint at the next story at the end. I also liked the "ramblings" of the author on the writing of this story. Tiny House, Big Heartache - Next instalment in Hannah Huntsford's series, a kind of follow up to the last one. Not quite as witty with more human interest and survivorship after a terrible experience. I liked seeing a lot of this story through Daphne's eyes as she struggles with what to report and keeping people's feelings in consideration. My heart went out to the survivors of this story and the last as we interacted with them. I look forward to the next in this series. Tiny House, Big Cover-Up - A new adventure in the life of Hannah Huntsford. She was still recovering from her hostage crisis, but she had made progress. This time, she helped her boyfriend, Detective Tyler O'Connor, with another murder. It was fun watching these two interact, both seriously and jokingly. The murder was fairly straightforward, though I only had part of it. I also enjoyed the little rambling note at the end of the book. Tiny House, Big Crime Ring - I really am enjoying watching the relationships grow around the story. Hannah worried about her boyfriend, Tyler, after he broke the crime ring. Then she found out her friend had gone missing. I loved how much she cares about friends and family. She was quite determined to find her friend. This story had a bit more in the point of view of Tyler, which I enjoyed. Another interesting case for Hannah. ... show more

  • Fun listen!
Format: Audible Audiobook
I enjoyed this series. I listened to the Audible format. While light & fun, it was different & detailed enough to hold my interest. For me this is perfect when I'm driving or walking & I need to keep an eye on what I'm doing but can also enjoy myself.

  • Good idea, failed execution
Format: Kindle
I feel like there is potential here but it never panned out. Parts of the stories felt like a detailed outline and not a finished story. Good news, there are not lots of typos. Bad news, there are incomplete sentences and text supplied by people who aren’t present. There are references to potential storylines that never appear again in the books. I’ve read 6, I won’t be reading more. ... show more

  • An engrossing box set
Format: Kindle
Seldom do I read six books in one sitting, or as close to that as is feasible, but each book held my attention and made me want to know what happened next. I also liked the fact that Hannah worked with the police in solving each mystery. If you enjoy cozy mysteries you will enjoy these clean ones.

  • Interesting stories but must have been her first books
Format: Kindle
This author has potential. Theses are better than any other shallow stories I've read. she has good storylines, and should turn them into deep books instead of shallow fluff. I don't usually take a chance on books with silly pictures or off-beat titles, such as food mysteries or tiny houses. But these were actually enjoyable. The crimes were interesting but usually drawn out too much. I don't like books where I have to skip over useless paragraphs. Many times conversations between characters were very long and extremely dull. These would have been rated as a 5 if the excess words and conversations were eliminated. I will not read her other books, as food and bakery stories are always very boring and extremely shallow. Cozy stories can be very entertaining without being shallow fluff. These authors who write shallow books can write a book a week. ... show more

  • This is a cute series.
Format: Kindle
This is a very cute series. Every book is a very quick read. The only problem I have had with the series is that it needs to have a good proof reading. This is irritating. I have all the books in this series. At 99 cents they are a good value. Between 125 - 140 pages in each book. Great Value. It is wonderful to find books at a good price. I am tired of finding books(?) charging up to $8.00 and less than 50 pages. I have other books by Ms. Potts and will continue to support her by purchasing her books. ... show more
