I'll start with the bad. If you're a big person like I am, you're not going to be all the comfortable for longer periods of time without a pillow or cushion to sit on. And that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Now, to the good. I'm 300lbs, and this chair holds my weight just fine. It was easy to put together. I have it on carpet and it rolls ok. With a pillow on the seat, it's relatively comfortable and serves my needs just fine. If you can buy a better padded one, go for it... but for this price, this chair is pretty good! ... show more

It’s a great chair. It fits under the sewing table I turned into a laptop desk ($25) at a second hand store. I bought an $.11 1/4” nut at Ace to connect the back of chair to the seat. I probably should have gotten a locking nut. I’ll just need to keep an eye on the screw that holds them together & it will last my lifetime. At least the screw part is attached to a knob which fits my hand & in easy to tighten after the chair was put together. It is just the size I need for my make-shift desk. ... show more

This chair is far more comfortable than my dining room chair. It would benefit from more seat padding to really be comfortable but then again, you should purchase a more expensive chair to get it. It's not meant for long sitting hours, esp if you are carrying a few extra pounds but it does quite well for short periods. I found it more comfortable to leave the height at the lowest setting to take the pressure off of the back of my legs. If you have a comfy seat cushion then I encourage you to use it for the extra padding. Believe me, you will be glad of it, esp. if you work from home or work at a computer for long periods. This is a good budget friendly option but don't forget to get a comfy cushion if you decide to order this item. ... show more

This is our second purchase. We bought the first one in red last year for one of our home offices and now purchased a purple one for another workstation at home. They're sturdy, comfortable chairs that are very mobile. They roll and swivel well and can be assembled in about 15 minutes with the included Allen wrench. I'm a 5'2" woman who is not super handy, but I had a pretty easy time assembling this chair. It rolls smoothly on the floor and adjust to a low enough level for my feet to reach the floor. It doesn't have arms, which is good if you've got a tight space or are worried about the ergonomics of arms being in the wrong place. But the padding on the seat is very limited, and the back doesn't have any flexibility. I find it comfortable for up to an hour or so. It can't compete with the chair I had at the office, but I think that one retails for around $1000. ... show more

This came on time and was very easy to assemble. It’s pretty comfortable for the price point, it has the very loud plastic wheels on it so be aware of that, and also the bolts came loose rather quickly so I put on some thread locker and they’ve been holding ever sense.

I was looking for a chair,that was neither bulky nor took up so much room and did not cost so much. Its a real good chair for my need. I would not recommend it for a very heavy or big person,but I am a 5'7" 160 pound woman, and its perfect for me. The customer service was terrific when I called about some advice,a small part,coaster,was shipped within a day and can you beleive this, I put it together without help and I am without experience and am almost 77 years old. It took some thinking,but if I could do it.....so can you. the only tool you need is enclosed. Good luck. ... show more
