The mattress is absolutely fantastic. There was no smell or a fiberglass cover over the memory foam portion which were both common issues on most other mattresses on here. Allow the mattress to sit untouched for 48 hours and it will rise to around 11.5 inches, depending on the angle with some being 12. The mattress has a bottom of around 9 inches which consists of springs and memory foam surround said springs. This allows for the springs to not become damaged or flatten over time due to the memory foams additional support structure while the springs assist in the memory foam not flattening due to the same reasons as they cause it to tighten/firm up from additional units of pressure which add stability. The same goes for the top, which is around 3 inches of pure memory foam with a medium-plush feel. The memory foam confirms to your body slightly while not fully encompassing you, making it difficult to get up or causing certain sleeping points where your body weight is to sink. Some people complained about a sinking issue and that has to be due to them not waiting the full 48 hours to firms up, not utilizing a box spring or platform bed frame, or them being severely overweight and causing a dip in a singular location where they rest. I now own three of these. The oldest one I have had for three years, and it is holding up nicely and is still extremely comfortable. It comes with a mild smell, but after 24 hours it aired out nicely. We slept on it after 48 hours, and no noticeable smell. Would have given it a 5 star except that some of the corners didn’t fully inflate but that doesn’t affect the sleep quality. It was also shorter than our previous mattress and doesn’t fit correctly with our bed frame so will need to get a wedge. For the price well worth it overall.

My fiancé and I were sleeping on a crusty dusty queen handmedown for years before itching to buy a new mattress. I had been researching for months, and reviews are always mixed feelings! He decided on this one, and wow it was worth the investment. Once you’re in bed, you’re knocked out for the whole night. No tossing or turning, any position feels comfortable, it’s amazing! I use to wake up with a random area of body hurting but now I wake up energetic. If I don’t wanna get out of bed, it’s because of how comfy this mattress is. Do not buy! I called them to tell them how every side didn’t expand they all lean down. I was on so much pain every where I was miserable and upset. Their response was call Amazon. It’s not Amazon’s fault it’s your crappy product. I literally flushed 300 down the drain. I like pain too btw I just had our baby with no epidural and labor and birth hurt way less then what this did to my entire body. Literally cried sobbed in pain and how we were taken for fools buying this. No pain relief only gives you pain. No comfort only brings you physical and emotional disparity. They were not helpful customer service Rhonda was terrible saying to call Amazon she even gave me their number like she’s so used to this!!!! Beware!!! Had to buy a 200 four inch mattress topper just to make this ok. Needless to say breast feeding in this bed is a nightmare. I miss my Zinus memory foam we gave to our son so we could cosleep and breast feed needed a king well I miss my queen. The worst mattress can feel every coil the bed bounces and not good even purchased 60 in lumber to make platform bed flat with no slates I’m so depressed over this purchase and we buy a lot and everything off Amazon. ... show more

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a bed-in-a-box, but I was pleasantly surprised with the experience! First, it arrived a day earlier than expected (always a plus!). We had no problem moving the box upstairs – so much easier than trying to squeeze in a mattress in its full form. It was easy to remove the packaging and unroll (and fun to watch it expand into shape too). The mattress itself is very comfortable, especially with the memory foam topper.
