I recently purchased the Signature Design by Ashley Queen Size Chime 12 Inch Medium Firm Memory Foam Mattress with Green Tea & Charcoal Gel, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. First, the price is so much less than ANY big box store. While I don't expect to get 10 yrs out of it, I'm sure it will last at least a couple years. Allowing me to save up for an even better mattress. I'm overweight and that means I'm putting a lot of stress on the matterss. My last one did last about 5 yrs before I noticed it wasn't as comfortable as it used to be. This mattress is very firm (the way I like it) when you first lay down, then it allows you to settle in place and supports even a large guy like myself. I am not sinking into it, which makes moving hard. I like the quality. The fit is perfect for my king sized bed and deep pocket sheets. The 12 inch thickness give lots of room to sink, but also stops the other person from feeling if you're moving around.

This mattress is worth every dollar. Me and my wife were ready to pick up the Serta foam mattress from Sam's club for $500. We read reviews of this mattress and the amazon basics mattress. But were concerned with how the mattress felt. The Sam's club mattress we tested out, sat on, laid on and jumped on. This was the main reason why we were going with the Serta from Sam's. The morning we were supposed to go to Sam's club, I read a review of this mattress that sold me. The guy was around my size (5'11, 230lbs) and answered all my questions I had hahahaaaa. I told my wife, i'm ordering this mattress (Queen size 12") it's half the price of the Sam's club Serta and if we didnt like it we could still return it. I'm glad we saved $250 by going with this mattress because its amazing. My issues, Lower back problems, I'm a side sleeper, I'm always hot, our old coil mattress sucked and My wife could feel every move i made on my side of the bed. Mattress was delivered in a day, delivery guy brought it to my door and offered to bring it inside. But it wasnt that heavy. I carried it up stairs to our room, with out a problem. Slid it out the box, cut the first bag open, unrolled it on top of our box spring and then cut the last bag open... Instantly it started to rise, slid the bag out from under the mattress and let it do its thing. To be safe and from the reviews we read, we opened the windows and had the febreeze ready. No smell what so ever. after 2 hours it was at about 10" and after 4 hours it was a little over 12". we gave it another 2 hours just incase but it didn't rise any higher. We put the sheets on and made the bed, it was higher than our old mattress. First thing i did was sit on the edge and noticed it didnt collapse. that was a good thing. Then i laid down and instantly fell in love haha. The mattress is firm but not hard. I could get in and out of bed with out my wife feeling a thing. First nights sleep was great, no issues, no lower back pain and absolutely no sweating. If you have back pain and need the support and want a good nights sleep. This is a great mattress. i'm no memory foam expert or mattress know it all. Im a regular guy that likes to sleep. This thing was easy to set up and lets me snore all night with no interruptions hahaaa Buy it NOW!

For the money this seems to be a great mattress. I ordered 2 of these on the Black Friday sale. It pretty much takes 2 people to open it up and is quiet weighty. It's firm but comfortable. My husband likes a firm mattress and I like a little softer mattress ( because of issues with my rt hip...I need a softer mattress) and this one satiesfies both of us. We are both resting well on it and don't bother one another when getting up during the night. We neither one roll to the middle anymore. I wake up slightly sore but it attributed to having scoliosis and this mattress definitely has full body support with no sinking...so my body doesn't like being held in proper place. We are both waking up well rested and refreshed. We both have had serious neck and back issues so this is working great so far for us. I would prefer a little softer but its a personal preference and I'm adjusting...it's still soft enough that I sleep comfortably. Downside for us was that it isn't flipable because of zip liner and no cushioning on bottom side. We plan on rotating every couple of weeks and will see if it retains its shape and durability. I will try to remember to update again in a few months but overall the good outweighs the negative for us.

Ok First: I've done extensive research on mattresses, what kind of mattress does better holding up, what to look for in a mattress and what mattress firmness does better for different people and how they sleep ect. Ect..... After paying for an over thousand dollar "hybrid" mattress in store, touching, feeling, testing and being reassured by a "professional mattress store owner" that hybrids are the new elite premium purchases of all mattresses and worth their extremely high price tag, I was at a loss, three months in with my king of all kings mattress and it's already large dips on both sides of the bed from myself and my husband alike, even though we're two very very different people in size, height and weight! Now my husband is a 6'2 160 lb man and I'm a 5'9 240 lb woman, that's a fairly large difference, yet we both caused dips in that mattress within the same time frame. So yeah I've got some trust issues π. Trust me sleep has been unbearable.... Second: I needed a mattress that I could buy that was affordable and that was going to do its job! So I began reviewing mattress after mattress, ones best for heavier set people and ones that were reliable. I looked both on and off of Amazon. There are countless ones just like this one that come up, ranging from a little cheaper than this too a little more, but the reviews for me on this one and of course that steal of a deal price tag. Can a sounds too good too be true, be real in this world? Yes. Now I've only had this mattress for coming up on 2 weeks but following the recommended two days set time before using, when I first laid on this bed....I knew instantly that top dollar, premium hybrid was an Elite lie! I'm talking instant comfort that I'd been denied the luxury of having, because of a top dollar investment I was stuck with. This mattress has already in the time spent on it, started to relieve my siatica nerve pain that the last ugly sinful bed had caused me to have. Back pain solved (mind you, I have no extensive issues with my back, only an out of alignment hip) instant grogginess and tiredness gone in the am, I'm able to get myself out of bed because I actually slept with optimal comfort and actually get deep rest.... Go figure, you really do need restful sleep too cure most simple things that ail you π¬.... Gone fatigue and achy tired muscles, gone pinched nerves, and feeling like I'm 8 years older then I really am! Now am I getting ahead of myself? Maybe! But honestly just the two weeks that I've gotten was actually worth what I paid for this mattress already πππ.. see that tells you just how bad my "premium hybrid" really was! Alas....I know that things could change in a month or maybe even less....So I solemnly vow to come back in a month and give an update and then also at the 6 month mark and give another update and then we'll see if we make it to the 1 year mark to see what we got going on then! That way you can feel better about making an actual decision, incase you got trust issues or mattress ptsd like me, or have a similar story and have searched ruthlessly hoping to find something that'll give you and your wallet piece of mind!! I got you boo! π I'm taking one for the team!! So Until another 2 1/2 weeks.....take care knowing someone out here is rooting for you to get the sleep you need!! Sincerely, a previous tired, grumpy and hurting mattress grinch! I'm late lol.... Don't judge me! I got a life outside of mattress reviews π. I've now had this mattress for around 7 months..... Wait for it....... Wait for it..... It's still AMAZING... Best overall purchase I've ever made!!! No dips....No sag... Just amazing quality....I will be buying more of these mattresses for my other rooms throughout the house! If you're looking for a slightly firm but still feels soft mattress then look no further! I had been looking for almost a year, trying to figure out if I wanted a innerspring with plush top or a memory foam mattress. I have never owned a memory foam mattress before and wanted to make a good investment. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have severe hip and back pain and I need a quality bed. I found this Ashley Chime 12 inch King Size Memory Foam Mattress on Prime Day and I am so glad I did. It arrived in a very long box, exactly as seen in the product video. (I do want to say to Ashley that they really should find a way to manufacture handles somewhere on this awkward box!) You cannot actually handle it very easily. It was very heavy, almost or right at 90 lbs, so you will need help getting it inside and setting it up. After opening the vaccum sealed bag it began to inflate and was full 12 inches in less than 2 hours. There was very little to no smell for me after a few hours. The first night it felt extremely firm, but I slept well. I woke up with minimal hip pain the next morning and was very happy. It seems to become softer as the days pass or it could be as I become accustomed to it. Overall I am very pleased, I got an incredible deal and my pain level has decreased. I would reccomend this Ashley Chime and I most definitely would purchase again. I will try and update in about 6 months. I am curious how it wears after some time has passed. Thanks Amazon and Ashley Furniture Update: It's been almost 2 years since I purchased this product. I'm very happy to report that I have almost no detectable wear that I can find. It is the most comfortable mattress that I've ever owned. I had never owned any memory foam mattress before and didn't know what to expect. I never thought I'd be this impressed honestly. A good night's rest is so important for good health and now I'm actually able to get good sleep. I'm so very happy with this mattress. I hope when I do have to replace this one in the future that they still have this product available. Oh and just an observation, if you have hip or leg problems you definitely should get a lower profile mattress. This one being 12 inches tall is a little difficult for me getting into some days. Once on the bed it is so comfortable. I honestly didn't consider the height being an issue before I purchased it. Chime does come in 8, 10 and 12 inch height. Hope this helps...Enjoy!

We had been looking for a new bed for months. I, like many here, didn't want to pull the trigger on a mattress until I reviewed as many as possible. I read reviews and watched YouTube videos on Purple, Ghost, Lucid, Nectar, Tuft & Needle etc. My brain was hurting and my eyes were burning. I came across Chime and everything seemed good and the price is fantastic compared to the others. Day of delivery: I woke up as I always did with my old matress, hurting! Headache, eye, neck, back and leg pain. This has been a morning ritual for over a year. The UPS man knocked on my door and asked me to help him with the package. I said, of course bud. As we walked to his truck he says," I think it's a bed!?" I said," yes sir. Bed in a box the way of the future." He laughed. So the bed is slightly heavy and I'd recommend two players for this adventure. Unboxing: Its unboxes like any of the others. Carefully cut plastic and unroll bed. Then cut second set if plastic and watch the magic that is a 1" bed grow into a 12" mattress. Remember those grow a dinosaur by adding water pills as a kid? It's kinda like that without adding water. Firmness: I realize A LOT of people complain about how firm it is. Evidently I must have been sleeping on a broken hardwood floor for a mattress because this new mattress is amazing! I laid down on it after setting it up and didn't get up for two hours. I don't find it very firm at all. I'm 6'5" and 274lbs. So maybe that plays into it. This bed beyond comfortable. Overall: This was an excellent purchase for us. After our first night of sleep I woke up and didn't hurt. No joke. I'm sore but no actual pain like I've been used to for over a year. Its very well priced and showed up days early. How it will hold up over time is unknown but the now is amazing.

I struggle with comfort in a bed often. Rarely finding suitable sleep. I just got this bed this afternoon and it expanded immediately after I put a hole in the plastic bag itβs vacuumed in. As soon as I got the plastic off fully it was at expanded to about 10.5inches. I gave it another hour and it was about 11.5 inches thick. I knew it was ready when I could bounce a quarter off the sheet upon application. The fit was perfect and hasnβt shifted off the edges either with rolling and sliding on and off the mattress. Before the hour I took a test lay against recommendation but it seemed softer than I anticipated but after that hour the firmness was perfect for me. Iβm about a solid 250 lbs with arthritis and paralytic spells. It forms to the body and is like a comforting swallow. It did not have a smell at all upon expansion. No gassy or even vapor smell like it was mechanically sealed and rolled like previous mattresses. I overheat at times and slept without waking up hot as well so its cooling layer actively works. This was nice as I love the weight of the blankets but not the heat it holds with a regular mattress. I have done what I love to call a weight test where I hold solid weight in a spot to test the Re inflation rate and it was almost immediate. Not even 10 seconds and it was back to its original state after the sinking of heavily dropping my weight directly in the center. I have also kneeled into the mattress knees first and itβs done the same on the edges not showing signs of sinking.
