Purchase two of these for a brand new bunkbeds they fit nicely and are just the right thickness and comfortably firm yet not too soft. My kids love them. They fall asleep very easily on them. Initially when I bought it, I thought I might need a box underneath for the car bed, but once I got this 8” mattress placed and laid in it, my God! It feels so good, way beyond my expectations! I purchased this mattress when I first moved into my apartment and slept on it for about two years. For the price, it was a good starter mattress and arrived compressed and easy to set up. It was comfortable at first and served its purpose well. Over time, though, I found that the 8-inch thickness wasn’t enough support for me as a heavier sleeper.
