Product is as seen but as usual the directions are on a tiny sheet! I am a very healthy 72 who walks 4 miles a day and teach Nordic Walking at Rec Centers all over southern Maine. I don't know if I got a defective item but I have tried many brands of resistance bands and this one's are too light. The black one doesn't have x-heavy resistance at all compared to the other brands. I had to double band to get the resistance wanted.
