I LOVE this mattress! It arrived, as all mattresses do, these days, rolled up and shrink wrapped in plastic. After I determined which side would be up, I oriented it on the bedframe and cut the plastic off. I did it early in the day so that it would have a good long time (hopefully) to inflate to its full thickness by bedtime. I'd bought my previous mattress on ebay, and that one never inflated to it's full length, so I really hoped this one would do better. I shouldn't have worried at all, as soon as I cut the plastic, it was like a jack-in-the-box, with a POP! it snapped open and to (as near as I could tell) it's full thickness immediately! No waiting! Now, I'm sure that was just the spring part that was responsible, and that the gel-memory foam topper part needed time to inflate, but I gave into temptation and laid on it immediately, and it was perfectly comfortable. l've never bought a bed-in-a-box that expanded so quickly! There was a slight odor, but it faded quickly. It fits true to size. I've been remodeling my place, and in the process, I've been using my bed as a bed, easy chair, sofa, and general purpose seating more than usual, and I have to say that 3 months and change after buying this, it's still retaining it's shape admirably. It's probably the firmest mattress I've ever slept on, and I had an extra memory foam topper waiting for it, but even with that, it's still quite firm, but very comfortable. With the firmness of the support, the almost instant expansion rate, and the way it holds its shape, I'm pretty sure I'll look for this brand next time I'm in the market

This is a very well made mattress, though not very “hybrid” to me. I found the mattress to be quite stiff initially-very hard - I was getting a sore back from it. It has since, a week later softened a bit. I was going to return it, but instead was able to get a credit via Amazon, which has allowed me to purchase a memory foam topper… Let’s see if this helps!

I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but I sleep good! The bed is firm but still comfortable. It didn’t come with a weird smell. I do not sink in the bed at all and although I sleep by myself I do not believe you would feel someone moving next to you. I placed an empty bottle on the bed and moved around and the bottle didn’t fall over or even move in the slightest. I don’t believe it expanded to the full 12 inches but I think it’s close. I would buy this bed again.

My negative review is mostly about the return process with the company that sells this mattress. First the mattress itself is less of a hybrid and more of a standard spring mattress with a thin one or two inch foam topper built in. It is much bouncer than a foam mattress. If your partner moving around a lot bothers you, you will feel them move on this. It doesn't bother me though. I enjoy sleeping on this mattress well enough. Not the best or the worst mattress I've ever had. The mattress itself I give 4 stars. However it is the worst customer service experience I've ever had which is why it is 1 star. This mattress is not shipped by Amazon. It comes from a company in China. It is nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone from the company. I accidentally ordered two mattresses. This was 100% my fault. I immediately tried to cancel the order. I could not. Then both mattresses arrive. I opened one and put the other aside. I started the return process. The return had to be approved by the company. I had to reach out to Amazon customer service twice to get someone at the company to respond. After all that, I received the email confirming that I could return the product. The return instructions were incredibly difficult to follow. (Such as the item having to be in the original box, unopened and then later in the directions it said to open the box to put return information inside) The instructions were very vague about where to ship the return from. It had a shipping label attached that just had the address in China where to ship the item. There was no time frame on how long the return would be processed. I also had to pay return shipping costs, which after looking into it meant I would get little to no money back after paying the cost. I reached out with my concerns and heard nothing. So now I have a mattress in a box in my living room as a reminder to be more careful where I spend my money. If you are 100% sure that you will keep this mattress and you need a decent spring mattress, this mattress is a good option. If you are concerned you will have any issues with the mattress, do not buy this. Buy one from a company that sells and ships items from Amazon. The return process is a joke. You cannot return this mattress.

I’ve had this mattress for about a month now. Honestly, the first few nights were amazing — super soft, supportive, and really cozy right out of the box. It gave that “ahh finally!” feeling when I first settled in. I mostly work from my bed (I know, not ideal!), and while it felt great initially, I’ve started noticing some back discomfort creeping in over time. Might just be the way I’m sitting all day, but something to keep in mind if you’re planning to spend long hours on it. That said, for sleeping — it’s great. It stays cool, doesn’t sink too much, and still holds its shape well. So far, no issues with sagging or any weird smells when unboxed.
