Does a good job but takes getting used to. The stretch tube to extend the reach of the ceiling and non-floor places is awkward and clunky. The plastic seems thin where it should be stronger. Hard to tell when the brush should be on or off. Can't do too many stairs steps without the vacuum falling over.     • Happy with my purchase!!
I bought this to replace my 20+ year old Dyson vacuum cleaner. So far it has worked wonderfully. It's lightweight, suction is good and maneuvering is easy. The handle and other parts seem flimsier than my old vacuum, however, time will tell how sturdy it ends up being.

I find the dyson machine heavy....and cumbersome. Instructions for assembling were limited. I resorted to YouTube videos to provide the details for putting the bits and pieces together. Folks who prepare the instructions should remember that most customers are not engineers and many require exquisite details to get a to fit b. I'm early in the game of ownership and the vacuum has had limited opportunity to impress me....it does suck up well....not sure I could ever feeel safe or comfortable using it on the stairs....and if I need to take it to another level in my house....I'll have to find someone better able to carry the 17 or so pounds up and down the stairs. My last machine, which worked very well, was lighter, easier to manoevre and functioned with far less noise! I'm not yet in love with this purchase. ... show more

    • Nice vacuum but...
This is a great vacuum as long as you don't have a heavy nap or very plush carpet. Worked great on other surfaces just not so much on the plushier type of carpet. Suction was so that you were unable to even push it. For that reason I have to rate one star less.

I resisted buying this for years because of the cost. But now I regret not buying it sooner!! I have 3 dogs and so I have to vacuum every other day and I’m always surprised what I get up. Everyone should get one you will not be disappointed.
