Love these hoses! I own several at my different houses, 25' & 50' and am very pleased with their light weight and strong structure. I have had them for over a year now. End fitting are aluminum, but they appear to be anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance. I would still suggest using plumbers thread tape on both end threads to ward off the chance of dissimilar material corrosion from your faucet and spray head threads. This garden hose is not up to my expectation. I am very dissatisfied with this product. First, the add on the Amazon website appears to indicate that the hose is flat when there is no water flowing through it. That is not the case. It is simply a regular rubber hose. The biggest problem I have had with this hose is that it kinks very easily and far too often thereby restricting or preventing the flow of water. I find this to be very frustrating. I needed a long hose to reach from one side of the house to the other, knowing that I would have to haul it out and back regularly. Most of the alternatives I could find were only offered up to 100', so the 150' length of this was a huge plus. This hose has been great so far. Really lightweight and easy to work with. The fittings are high quality and easy to screw on and off, and the pressure is equal with the old rubber hose I was using. It does kink pretty easily (especially before you turn the water on), but it also unkinks quickly too with a little shake. Really impressed with the quality so far, and happy I can reach my far garden without having to aim a rainbow of water from a distance. ... show more

    • It's different than a regular hose

I was hesitant to buy this type of water hose. It is different than the regular type of hoses I am used to. It takes a few seconds to charge the hose with water and fill it. I usually have a nozzle on the end and turn it off so the water can't spray out and it fills up quicker and ready to go. Now that I have had the hose for a couple of months I really like it because it is much lighter and easier to maneuver around. My wife hated the regular hose we had because the "no kink" hose constantly kinked and was heavy. So far I really like this type of hose. ... show more
