Description

The Fill-O-Matic 2000 will automatically keep your swimming pool water filled to the level you determine. It works with both in ground or above ground pools. It is made in the USA with the highest quality components available. The base is made of 100% rubber and has a lifetime warranty, it will not slip, slide or leave any marks. The U.V. stabilized bracket provides the ultimate in chlorine resistance and strength. The float valve mechanism has been proven in over two hundred thousand installations around the world. The pool filler is adjustable from 2" depth to 9" and an extension bracket is available on Amazon that will add an additional 5" of depth. If your water pressure is Above 60 psi, a pressure reducing valve will be required. Do Not Use Teflon Tape or any type of thread sealant as this Will cause a leak.

Last year, while we were on vacation for ten days, our local pool company missed a scheduled service visit.     • Works pretty well but I need to reset it if it rains too much
High quality product and it works well, however every time we get a heavy rain and the water level goes above where it's set the float valve seems to get stuck and it won't work unless I go out and manually pull the float valve down, then the unit continues to work as intended. Overall I am quite pleased with this purchase, it saves me having to keep an eye on the water level and drag the hose out every week, I just have to remember to reset the float after a storm. ... show more

    • Been working great
I first bought one of the grey plastic automatic pool filler types from another brand, and it immediately caused my pool to overflow. I sent that one back and got this brand instead, and it has been great. I appreciate that it has a weight attached to it so I don't have to fill it up with rocks like the other kind, and it has proven stable even when we've had immense winds that have blown other items around our yard. We've had no leaks or problems; we did the recommended water pressure test and added the pressure reducing valve before installing. I have the Fill-o-matic attached to a sprinkler timer so it runs up to 4 hours a day, and that has been sufficient for maintaining the water level in the pool without running afoul of our water company's watering rules in the summer. The product seems stable and durable, and it was very easy to follow the instructions for setup. This is more expensive than the plastic versions you see all over Amazon (which is why I tried those first), but this feels very much like a you get what you pay for situation. This is a higher quality product that is worth the higher cost; I feel peace of mind about leaving this setup working while we are out of town because I know it will shutoff properly as needed. ... show more
