Description

The Fill-O-Matic 2000 will automatically keep your swimming pool water filled to the level you determine. It works with both in ground or above ground pools. It is made in the USA with the highest quality components available. The base is made of 100% rubber and has a lifetime warranty, it will not slip, slide or leave any marks. The U.V. stabilized bracket provides the ultimate in chlorine resistance and strength. The float valve mechanism has been proven in over two hundred thousand installations around the world. The pool filler is adjustable from 2" depth to 9" and an extension bracket is available on Amazon that will add an additional 5" of depth. If your water pressure is Above 60 psi, a pressure reducing valve will be required. Do Not Use Teflon Tape or any type of thread sealant as this Will cause a leak.

This is hands down the best automatic pool filler I’ve used. I’ve had built-in auto-fill systems installed by pool builders in California, and they cost significantly more—yet this simple device performs just as well (if not better) at a fraction of the price. Pros: • Works exactly as advertised – keeps my pool water at a perfectly consistent level • Super easy setup – just connect it to a garden hose and you’re done • Reliable float system – no fluctuations, no babysitting • Cost-effective compared to builder-installed systems Cons: • Requires water pressure below 60 PSI, so you’ll need a pressure regulator • Not a big deal—I picked one up for about $14 • It’s not built-in, so it sits outside the pool (purely aesthetic concern) Tips: • Buy a pressure regulator (under 60 PSI) to protect the unit and ensure proper function • Use brick, coping, or pavers (like I did in my photo) to weigh it down and make it blend into your pool area—it actually ends up looking pretty clean and intentional ... show more

    • Works well, the float is better than on the cheaper models but slightly harder to adjust.
This is my third auto-fill device. So far it's working better than the previous two (which were the white plasitc ones that are common). My only two issues are that: (1) there is some rust at the exposed connection with the supplied metal braided hose (after six months); and (2) because the valve closes slowly as the water level raises (meaning that the water flow slows down as the float approaches the cut-off point instead of just stopping at that point), this one seems to run much more frequently but at a very slow flow. Also, and this is not a negative for me, but if you want to adjust the water level, you've got to remove the device from the pool and turn two srewes to raise or lower the bottom portion with the float in it. That's more difficult than in the cheaper models where you can just turn the long plastic screw that the float rides on. ... show more
