This cat door was exactly what i needed. I have several cats but only one that want to use a litter pan. That's fine but my little dog seems to think that what the cat leaves are special little treats(bleah). I can't leave the door open so the cat has access and so the furry fella has to sit at the door waiting for someone to notice his need to use the litter pan. This cat door has alleviated the issue. My little dog is small enough to fir through the cat door but he seems a little freaked out about it so he won't go through it. Also, a plus for me and my furry feline. Overall, it was very easy to install but do not follow the instructions on the box when it says to use a chainsaw. Other cutting tools would be safer and cause less damage. ... show more

Love this for our cats. Makes it easy for them to go in and out of our room while keep the door locked so the kids cant ger in. In the instructions it says to use a chainsaw to cut door. Jig saw worked just fine. Husband found it very funny.

I’m not sure what they mean by locking feature in description but it’s a basic cat hole. It was a pretty easy straight forward install, the instructions are quite amusing and obviously translated. I don’t recommend using a chain saw to cut the hole as suggested, a jig saw did just fine. Cat loves it and now I can close my laundry room door while still giving Wanda the wonder cat access to her litter box and I think she likes the privacy. ... show more

    • A bit more difficult to install than I'd have liked
Lining the pins up was a bit of a pain because they were bent, so I just did the ol' screw through them all trick. Worked well enough. And it was a bit difficult to cut the "tunnel" where I needed to because there was some extra plastic there. Definitely not bad, and perhaps I just had a wonky piece. I love having it in the closet for the cat though, the idea is perfect ... show more

Easy template to use. Short screws could be a tad shorter or off center of opposing screws as they hit opposite screws. Cats adjusted quickly to using door.

It came with a piece to measure the cut on the door, but it doesn’t really work so you’re left to basically keep cutting until it finally fits
