This is a pretty nice patio set, the chairs are actually very comfortable. Very nice looking. My reason for 3 stars is this; the other reviewers aren't lying. I thought they may have just been dumb or not technically inclined but no, this was one of the most time consuming pieces of furniture i've ever put together. Especially when you get to the part where you put the legs on; it's almost impossible to do it in one go if you're doing this alone like I was. Second, for whatever reason the included black hardware was FILTHY. I was putting this together on my living room floor and wish I hadn't. My hands afterwards looked like I had been changing spark plugs. Honestly the -2 stars are really because of that. Finally, if they simply didn't use the black coating on the nuts and bolts this whole project would have been tremendously easier. The threads were sticky and uncooperative because of this. Just understand that the $100 you save vs other furniture sets you will be more than making up with your own labor. There is no "free lunch" to be had here unfortunately.
