It's Farberware and Farberware is great - I've had it before - but . . . as I looked into the opened package, I thought they'd sent me a set of grayish pans. I was expecting a bright blue set of pans, not exactly the same color as what showed on the computer, but bright blue. These are NOT bright blue but a grayish blue, and I don't like that they were so misrepresented. I keep a kosher house and the pans I use for meat dishes are red. I wanted the new ones that I use for dairy dishes to be blue, a nice bright blue though I wasn't fussy about which shade of blue, but these are not a bright blue and that irks me. Not enough to send them back, but it irks me. Every time I use them, it's going to irk me. It isn't a deal breaker, so I'm keeping them and I'm certain that they will perform beautifully, but they didn't get the 5 stars because the color was so badly misrepresented. If you don't mind that, or if this was a one-time error, then buy them and I know you'll get good wear out of them. But if you're matching them to your kitchen because it's blue, get another set from a different manufacturer, or perhaps take the chance, being prepared to send them back if they don't fit in with your decor. The cookie pan is a totally unnecessary piece and I think it was thrown in, cheap as it is, so that they could say it was 15 pieces. The "bonus" utensils are black which is a turn off for me. I need all my dairy utensils to be blue so I know they're dairy. I thouht they'd be blue like the cookware, but I was ripped off - except for the fact that Farberware is good stuff. The pots and pans work beautifully with nothing sticking to the surface of the pans, so in that sense, I got an excellent deal and I'm plesed with the purchase. They also wash easily and beautifully with no scrubbing needed. The color still irks me though, and if not for that, I'd have given it 5 stars. ... show more

I have been a fan of this brand for many years. I don’t know what happened. On my first use making pasta, the pot got scratched up badly on the bottom. I don’t understand. I have a pan I’ve been using for months that looks great. Maybe I just got a bad set. UPDATE 3.31.25: The paint started coming off. Pretty disappointed. No star was taken off. Just so disappointed. I've used the dishwasher on all of the utensils, pots, pans, and the baking sheet. They've held up to the dishwasher and cooking for the past few months so they seem like good quality for their cheap price so far! I also love how many lids it comes with since even the frying pan has a lid. Other reviews complained about how small the pots and pans are, but the sizes are listed in the description. Sometimes a small pot or pan is useful, especially for desserts or just one person so I like the variety. I do often need a larger frying pan so I have a separate larger one, but I don't often need a larger pot than the one that came in the set. The only item that was shockingly small was the smallest pot, but it's good for a sauce pan or instant ramen! I didn't expect much from the utensils, but they're a nice addition. However, the ladle/spoon is pretty flimsy and can't be a substitute for a wooden spoon or anything. The whisk can for liquids and the spaghetti spoon I have no issues with. Overall it's hard to beat this set for the price, color choices, and quality. ... show more
