I've installed over a dozen ceiling fans in my life and this one by far was the most difficult one I've ever encountered. The instructions are brutal and there is no list of the different pieces and how many are supposed to come with it etc. This is why I waited over 2 months to write a review ( to make sure it would impress me the same as the day I finally got it installed ) After 3+ hours of trying to do it I finally had it installed, but it was tilted and wobbling so bad I gave up. I figured I would just return it, but decided the next day to give it one more try. I noticed that I had neglected to line up the slot on the half sphere plastic part of the shaft with the bump on the hanging plate. ( My bad as this part was in the instructions but by then I had mostly thrown them aside ) Once I realized what I did wrong I took the entire assembled fan down to re-install. I literally had it back up and fully installed in just 10 minutes!! It was so time consuming and difficult to install the blades the first time as per the instructions which tell you to do this with the fan already mounted on the ceiling. Why they tell people to do it that way is beyond my comprehension! ( I think the horrible confusing instructions are the only reason they get so many returns ) If you're experienced in installing ceiling fans and pre-assemble it before mounting I can easily see how some report doing it in roughly a half hour. I turned the fan on and that's where the magic began.. This fan is Amazing!!!!! It also works with incandescent lightbulbs which are the only ones I use in my home ( I'm using 40 watt). My bedroom is roughly 14 feet 6 inches by 11 feet 6 inches. On #1 setting ( low speed ) it moves the air very nicely. On #2 speed it moves the air as much as I'll ever need! I live in Arizona and it's getting to the 100 degree plus days and I still have it on #1 ( low) speed. There is absolutely No Noise from the motor and an almost undetectable whisper from the moving air. BTW the remote works perfect and they even include the batteries. The fan in my opinion is perfection once installed! ... show more

I didn’t get to use this fan because the box that goes up into the ceiling to hold. The fan was too big for the hole that was in my ceiling so be prepared to make a bigger hole if you live in an older home, but the fan was absolutely gorgeous.
