Most people nowadays use their cell phone to wake them up, but I can't depend on that. Many times, settings seem to change and there's either no volume, or I don't have it set for the right day. This clock is a wonderful backup. I set them both. This clock has a large face that is easy to read, the buttons are large and handy for the snooze and off/on alarm. It also lights up for a short time so you can see the time in the dark. It isn't a loud alarm, but definitely enough to wake me up. Best of all, it's battery operated so if the power goes out, I still get woke up. At first I was very disappointed because the clock had stopped working and the time period had passed to send it back. After the review I received a very nice message from the seller wanting to make it right and they sent me another clock that I received today and it works great. I would purchase from this seller again just because they took the time to make sure I was not stuck with a damaged product. I want to thank them for the wonderful customer service they provided.
