I bought one for myself and one for my niece and I bought us each and extra kit with the sticky in a round dish which I recommend and the wider fatter stickey pen, which I also recommend just to upgrade your kit a little bit for the convenience and comfort. I would recommend that extra kit for the $6 or so. I had the little basket on hand which was perfect! Hint. Snip off a corner of each bead packet rather than the whole to. You can easily sprinkle onto the tray. Eyeball how many you think you will need and put about that amount in the tray each time you need to. Another hint: Color numbers 10-20 are matched with a corresponding letter. Probably so they can be read better on the canvas. Pre-mark each packet with the corresponding letter like I did on the packet as shown in photo. Stacking the packets as shown from 1-20 makes the process a lot smoother. I'm pretty sure these hints will help make the completion easier. I've read a reviewer or two that says there's not enough beads but please take a look at my image closely there are tons of extra beads! So many in fact that I do not want to throw them away so I'm going to look up ideas for what to do with leftovers. Manufacturer is very generous with the diamonds. Also note that these diamonds are faceted which give them that sparkle. I think I read that there are some kits where they have more of a round matte finish. The sparkle really makes the image pop and down here in Florida you know we love our blingy flamingos! Order from the seller with confidence. At least for the kit I purchased as you see here. Have fun! (It took about 6 weeks or so but I did it at my leisure and it was really relaxing. Have to always use my reading glasses to see those little diamonds.) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Such fun! Good way to make yourself sit still and wait out this pandemic without going stir crazy. Note: in the photo/video, I am not finished with the bottom of the diamond painting. You can still see how “FLAMAZING” the flamingo looks. Really sparkly and silly. Overall a good kit. Some pattern shapes are similar and make it difficult to tell what color to put in. There are no DMC numbers if you want to cross stitch or combine leftovers. Drills are sparkly.

Fun craft but the kit didn’t include enough beads for one of the colors. Abstract nature of the picture is very forgiving when you have to improvise.
