  • Great Space-Saving Water Heater
Size: 240V/6kW
I got this tankless water heater for my shed sink, and it's been a space-saver. Installation was straightforward, taking under an hour. It heats water well and doesn't leak. While I don't use the sink frequently, I haven't noticed any temperature fluctuations. It's sleek and efficient. Perfect for my needs. ... show more

  • Don't Buy
Size: 240V/6kW
This water heater decides when to heat water not you. I purchased the unit for its compactness as I was replacing a Westinghouse model that last eight years. from the moment I turned on the unit it cycled warm, hot and cold with no rhyme or reason. I thought adjusting the water pressure would take care of the issue. slowed it down and speeded it to to find the goldilocks rate it would operate at. VERY VERY disappointed. especially as I packed it in a hard sided cooler and brought down to Costa Rica, so Im STUCK with a lemon. DONT PURCHASE. Spend the extra $100 and get a real one. ... show more

  • Nice single point of use tankless water heater!
Size: 240V/6kW
We had a small tank heater for the laundry tub out in our detached garage which went bad, so I thought I would try out this unit. Installation was a bit of a "bear" lol especially with the electrical, but the effort was worth it! This unit definitely works great for instant hot water! I like the look of the unit with its digital readout, and it is very easy to change the temperature output using the arrow buttons on the front. I also like the indicator for the flow rate in gallons per minute. I live in a warmer southern climate, so this unit worked great for my application at a single fixture. With that being said, I am giving it the top rating and highly recommend it! ... show more

  • Great little heater
Size: 240V/6kW
This is a great little heater. I have installed this under a sink and it provides endless hot water when I need it. I would recommend this heater. A quick connection to 220V. A quick hot and cold connection and you are done... It comes with a mounting bracket as well!

  • Good for instant hot water in kitchen.
Size: 240V/6kW
Bought this for our second home in Africa and packed it along on my last trip. Thought I could enjoy a warm shower since the small tanked heater is in the kitchen and is only a few gallons. Install went ok. Water is warm but doesn't keep up with flow of shower - does help to raise temperature enough to wash hair and take a quick rinse off. Better than cold water! ... show more

  • Be aware of the additional expense before you decide to purchase.
Size: 240V/6kW
I have not finished installing my point of use tankless water heater yet. I am putting ours in our shed to provide hot water to a sink my wife uses next to her potting bench. It’s going to be nice for her, particularly in the spring and fall. I built the shed to replace our dilapidated old pump house this spring and fortunately I wasn’t quite done inside so the walls were mostly still open where I needed to take care of the plumbing and wiring. Before you make the decision to purchase any point of use tankless water heater you should be aware of the additional expense that are required for installation. If you’re replacing a correctly installed point of use water heater you’re probably already aware but won’t need to do it over again. The expenses are significant even if you complete the project yourself. The directions say that the heater needs a dedicated 30A Circuit with a minimum of 12 gauge wire. That may be true in some countries, the NEC requires 10 gauge wire here in the states. Luckily I only needed 25 feet, if memory serves the wire alone was over $80.00. The directions also recommend using a GFCI breaker. I almost fell over at the $140.00 price tag for a square D GFCI breaker (you can save some money purchasing them online). If you are not comfortable working in the electrical panel or running new circuits the cost of hiring an electrician will range from several hundred to much more depending on where the panel is and where the water heater is located. I believe that you can mount it in a cabinet under the sink and use a second hose to run from the heater to the sink. We didn’t want to interfere with shelving space so ours is mounted up higher on the wall. That required me to cut into the cold water line, run it to the heater location where the directions recommended a shutoff valve on the input and a pressure relief valve on the output of the water heater. Both are standard maintenance and safety practices. Then I ran pipe back down to the sinks future location. We chose a wall mounted faucet so I didn’t need a second valve under the sink. That cost me well over $100 in materials. A plumber will obviously be significantly more. Lastly, every locality that I am aware of requires an electrical permit to run a electrical circuit and most require a permit for the plumbing as well. I am not saying that I agree that I should need a permit to do some work in a small shed. I also know what I am doing and I would recommend not taking shortcuts. Get a building permit and have it inspected so you know you’re safe. In my city the minimum charge to receive a permit is $125.00 that covers a job where the total cost will be $500.00 or less. Anything beyond that increases the permit fee. I’m not in any way trying to tell people that this is a bad option or a bad product because they are not. In fact under the right circumstances it much less expensive than anything other than just having cold water. This heater has a low profile, a pretty simple installation process once the prep work is complete and you get it at a reasonable price. I’m actually happy we ordered it and plan to order another for the she shed that I’m finishing up after the garden shed is done. I also thought potential buyers should be aware that unless you have preexisting infrastructure where it needs to be, this can potentially be a large project. It’s much more than simply plugging it into an outlet and hooking up a couple of hoses. ... show more

  • Works for my sink
Size: 240V/6kW
I needed a water heater for a sink in my large shed, but I didn't want a big, traditional water heater taking up space, so I ordered this tankless water heater. A friend ran the waterline to the shed and installed this for me while I watched, and installation went smooth. It took less than an hour to install the water heater and it fit well beside the sink. This unit seems to heat the water well and it doesn't leak. I don't use this sink often, but haven't noticed any fluctuation in its ability to heat. The unit looks sleek, is easy to install, and seems to be working great! I recommend it! ... show more

  • Has a mind of it's own
Size: 240V/6kW
Temperature is all over the map. One minute scalding hot, next Luke warm, then scalding. Doesn't stay consistent. I have half inch lines, which if great reduced volume over 3/4". My hot water is now very noticably lower in volume compared to the tank. Also note the wiring requirements. This requires a 30 amp service. My old tank was 20. So after rewiring work and cost, I'm not happy with the unit. I've installed a few of these, both gas and electric. One nice thing about electric is no need for adjusting the burners. I like tankless water heaters, aside teenagers who shower till the tank goes cold, now they have no more timer lol my guess would be this has a sensor to adjust temperature and it doesn't work properly. ... show more
