I bought two of these batteries for my RV and wired them in parallel. I was disappointed that even with two batteries in parallel, they couldn't produce enough current to start my Onan 4000. However, the batteries were well built and well packaged. I contacted the manufacturer and they were prompt and helped me get these returned. I was very impressed with their excellent customer service. The batteries didn't work for my application, but if you don't need high current to start a generator, I think these batteries are a great value, well made, & their service was exceptional.

So far so good. The battery arrived earlier than promised in good condition and was well packaged. I replaced two 200 ah AGM batteries with this one 200 ah battery in my camper van. In the process I lost about 150 lbs of battery weight and probably added a bit of capacity as the AGM batteries were old. Coming from conventional batteries the first hurdle is that it's hard to know what the state-of-charge of a new LIFEPO4 battery is. The battery was at about 13.3V and that's the value roughly associated with about a 50% range of state-of-charge for LIFEPO4. I connected a small 4amp LIFEPO4 charger and basically nothing happened to voltage for about a day. Then finally the voltage went up and current decreased. I think the battery's state-of-charge was about 55% when it arrived. Since then I have run various tests and the battery has been unflappable. It simply stays at 12.3V unless topped off. I connected a 100 amp load and voltage dropped to 12.6V while the load was active for about 5 minutes. When the load was disconnected it immediately went back to 13.3V. During that test I noticed that the negative terminal got very hot which had me worried. But when I looked closer I noticed that I had wedged the cable lug between 2 washers rather than having it in direct contact with the battery terminal. When I removed the bottom washer and repeated the test, the terminal remained as cool as the positive terminal. Now installed in my camper the battery works great and gets charged by solar, the alternator (via a DC-DC charger) or an AC charger depending on where I am. It runs a Dometic fridge 24/7. Time will tell if the battery is reliable but at this point I am very happy with the product. ***2.5 year update***: The battery is still going strong. I have had zero issues with it after 30+ trips in my camper van. Runs my fridge and a bunch of appliances without a problem. Charges up fast. I have not noticed any reduction in capacity.

I'm in love with Expert Power's 12v 40Ah LiFePO4 battery! I'm a competitor in kayak bass fishing and recently installed a 35lb. thrust trolling motor on my tournament kayak. Being a survey boat captain I have an OCD to have reliable equipment on all my vessels! So, I started my research on quality lithium batteries at a fair price. Narrowing it down to 2 batteries I chose Expert Power not going with the more popular company with the majority of the KBF anglers. And I'm so glad I did! This battery pushes me all day and still has a full charge at the end of the day! My competitors are even impressed with this 40Ah battery going just as hard as there 55Ah's. I recieved my battery on February 10th and it's now March 18th. When I first went out with this battery it was choppy water and I got water in the hull. Not much but enough to make contact my wires and trip the built in BMS to kill power supply. So I didn't know what happened and contacted customer service at Expert Power and got a friendly gentlemen named Bryan. Well he walked me through a procedure to troubleshoot the issue and not much longer after emailing back and forth I was back in action. I'm so satisfied with the customer service I received! Bryan stayed in touch with me and even checked on me/battery when he didn't here from me. In my last email to him I left my number and said to feel free to call. With no hesitation he did! Now that's great service! After getting off the water today with high winds, and going out a couple of times a week since receiving my battery, I knew it was time to write my review. Let me put it like this, I will be buying every battery I purchase from Expert Power for now on! I installed this in a MyQ garage door opener to replace the 4.5 MAh lead-acid battery it comes with. This ExpertPower 5 Mah battery is slightly wider than the 4.5 Mah lead-acid version, however it did slide into the device with just enough room with the wires. Lastly, I had to grind down the negative terminals on the ExpertPower batteries to make them narrower for fitting into the terminals on the garage door opener. Even though I didn’t like doing this I was able ti size them down enough to fit. The batteries do power the garage doors well when disconnected from AC power. I expect great longevity from these batteries.
