Previously, we were buying the cloth hoses because they were so lightweight and easy to roll. But the problem with those is that they weather very easily and end up splitting after just a few months. This metal coated hose has the same convenience of being light and maneuverable, but has a metal protective coating that will keep the hose inside from Being impacted by sun and heat so no more splitting or cracking. This is only an 8 foot hose, but we've also bought longer ones that are just as great. We use this in an area where we just need a little bit of hose to reach some planters for occasional watering. Would work great as a leader hose to a hose or any series hose sprinklers. Perfect anywhere that you just need a short distance of hoes and want something. They can hold up to constant sun and heat without letting you down. Great value.

I like these hoses. Some complain the inner diameter is constricting, but I haven't noticed any pressure issues, and I'm on a well. I have 3 of these hoses by this company. One on a reel, one in front of house, and one in back that is this shorter hose...meant to quickly fill my watering can. Never have to worry about coiling back up and fighting the hose. These come with spare o-rings. So far I am happy with all 3 I own.

I like that these Stainless Steel hoses easily roll into a compact space without kinking. I have 3 other different size SS hoses from this manufacturer and like the attention to design detail and the manufacturing quality. The protective sleeves at the end of the hoses are made from rugged plastic with nylon inserts that screw on to the end fitting. These hoses aren't meant to be used everywhere; they are yard hoses. I have a 100 foot hose from Eley i use in the driveway that can take the abuse of the abrasive driveway and an occasional vehicle. I like these SS hoses because they are lighter, resist kinking, are easier to handle and represent a good value. At first I was skeptical and resistant to change because they are different. If you haven't yet give them a try, I was surprised I would send up liking them.

This garden hose is well made from quality material. The outer part of the hose is made from sturdy and durable stainles steel. This allows for amazing flexibility and protection without kinks or tangles. The hose is also lightweight and easy to roll up. The fittings on the ends are for the standard outside faucet and sprayer nozzle. I use this short hose for draining some water out of my tanked hot water heaters twice a year. This works much better and is less messy than using a standard length hose for this task. The item is as descibed by the seller. I am very pleased with this item and believe you will be as well. The weather hasn’t allowed me to use it but I did check it out I think it will be a big step up from the plastic hose I’m currently using. It’s less likely of being damaged by being run over or getting snagged around trees. I looks nicer also the old green hose has become black with dirt
