This is the 3rd set of placement guides I have reviewed from Urboni and I had the same reaction to this one as the others. Awesome product, very durable, easy to read lines but the instructions are lacking greatly. As an embroidery director for several golf clothing companies, I know how important placement is for logos. It's not just about the location on the garment, but also the size of the logo, size of the garment and who is wearing the garment (male/female/junior/infant). These rulers do a wonderful job of helping you measure the placement but do nothing for showing you where the placement should be based on my aforementioned specifics. To find the guidelines for measuring you have to go on to Urboni's password secure website and view (not downloadable) them. This is incredibly inconvenient, especially if you do not use these on a regular basis. Once in the pdf's there are pictures of the garments with diagrams of logo placement for multiple garments (hoodies, tees, polos etc). While the pictures are good and the written instructions adequate, there are no images of the rulers in use. For a beginner to decoration, this is very important. On some of the garment pages the placement is listed for multiple sizes but others (like the polos) there are only a couple sizes listed. There is a big difference between the vertical drop on a Mens small and Mens Large so leaving out this info is a huge miss. As you can see in my photos (of incorrectly placed logos), every logo placement is going to be a little different but this makes the basics of those guidelines that much more important. Urboni knows what they are doing and these rulers are a great tool, they just need to update their instructions to include all sizes, have images of the rulers in use and allow downloads of the PDF so being online is not necessary for use. A wish list item would be for them to mark the rulers with sizing as well so once you understand how to use the rulers, you wouldn't need the PDF to quickly find placement.

I am a professional quilter and textile artist. I have an extensive collection of quilting and artist rulers and this measures up to the highest quality brands that I have! Very accurate and user friendly. The placement of the holes make these hang on a peg in unison and that alone is very satisfying. The thickness is very nice, these are not flimsy or brittle at all.

Really impressed with this! I wasn’t expecting these to be as thick and sturdy as they are, but they’re hefty! Four different sizes so you can get it right whether you’re working on a youth shirt or a 2XL. Most things like this are flimsy plastic that warps under the heat press while trying to place my design, but I think these will hold up better with how thick they are. I am actually quite impressed with this kit!

The wife embroiders a lot of shirts and placement needs to be precise. You can't go wrong with these rulers....makes placement so, so much easier!! Clear with easy-to-read measurements and the multi-piece set is a terrific value...all according to her.

I volunteered to embroider t shirts for my congregation and I was concerned about placement of the designs - both front and back. I found these just in time. These are sturdy, thick hard plastic like a quilting ruler, not the thin ones that bend. I love that the markings are in both black and white. If you have worked with dark fabric and a ruler with black markings you know it can be a bit challenging. One improvement would be to have a slot in the center of the "T" to make marking the X and Y axes easier. Having to move the ruler can lead to inaccuracy and alignment being off. The quality is very good and having 4 different sizes is a plus. I think these were designed more for printing or applying heat transfer designs but I am making them function for machine embroidery. One problem I have is getting to the booklets that are supposed to be included. I don't know how to download to my computer and I don't think my phone will handle the memory space they require.
