This hose is awesome! I have multiple hoses between 50-100 feet long. I used this one for the first time yesterday to hose off some wet leaves that would not sweep off of the driveway. This hose is super light and as I was pulling it out to the far end of the driveway, not a single kink. I could not get over how lightweight it was. We live in a bunch of trees which can be a fire hazard in the summer. I usually have to link a few hoses together to get water to where I need it, but then it kinks up and creates problems requiring me to wander through brush at times to get to the kink to straighten it out. Then after it is all said and done, I have to pull the heavy hose back to the spigot to wrap it up. This hose - it was amazing to use, and amazing to pull it all back so easily. The fittings on both ends are quality and the on/off valve near the sprayer end one of my most favorite features! It is perfect if I want to change out a sprayer for a sprinkler or vice versa. This seriously is my most favorite hose to date. Over the years I have tried multiple types of hoses (kink and supposedly non-kink), short, long, flexible, etc. This is by far the easier for me to straighten out, get the water I need to the source and fold back up. It is just great! When you are done with it for the season, you can easily stuff it back into the bag it come in for storage.

When I ordered this hose, I didn't know what to expect. Our current hose worked fine but wasn't long enough for our 150' Chicago city lot. I figured 150' hose would be perfect, though the 25' retractable feature was puzzling. Once received was taken aback by the packaging which was surprisingly small and light. Upon opening and looking closer, the quality of the actual hose itself was evident with a nice woven black outer coating and a very flexible/elastic underlayer. Following the simple instructions, I attached the hose and unwound it to its full 25' length with no water(see photo). Not helpful. But once I turned on the water, the hose expanded into a series of little wavy curves and after about a minute or so it was clear this had just grown MUCH longer(see photo), providing enough slack to reach both the back and front areas easily. WHOA! One of the coolest things I've seen(I know sounds silly but its true). After use it retracted back to its 25' length as it emptied. WHOA.... It's like living in the future! The included nozzle is mostly plastic, but the hose has a sturdy brass fitting with an on/off valve at the handle(see photo). The bag is simple and likely won't hold up to repeated storage use so that might be worth mentioning for some(I will not be using). Also, the outer woven material can snag easily on concrete(see photo). However, the hose is light and easy to wrap so you can avoid dragging if you wish to. Across grass this will be a non-issue. Overall, we are very pleased and would highly recommend it. Despite being on the pricier side, it works extremely well and is feels like it is worth the cost.

This very long expandable hose allows one to reach the far corners of the yard without having to have a bulky traditional garden hose to have to store when not in use. This one performs very similar to other expandable hoses that I have owned and does not seem to differ in quality of construction.

Perhaps it was just a typo but if you tell me I'm getting a 25' hose that is going to expand into a 150' hose you can't blame me for being disappointed when I open the package and it's a 60' foot hose : P Aside from that it's a pretty standard looking expandable hose (which is still a really cool upgrade if all you've ever played with is an old school vinyl hose) I really appreciate the use of a ball valve on/off lever and if the connectors turn out to be actual solid brass that will be a huge plus as well The storage bag is junk and should not be a part of your consideration The sprayer nozzle is just slightly better than junk and will not survive it's first drop on the driveway Not sure where they came up with $90 as the suggested retail - there are dozens of "like products" on Amazon for half that price

When I ordered, I wanted a lightweight hose that would reach all the way around the back of my house for watering and cleaning the patio. I am so tired of wrestling with my very heavy vinyl hose and replacing the wall hose hanger constantly because the hose is so heavy. This hose is so light and easy to maneuver and wrap onto my hose hangar when finished. I didn't realize how LONG 150 feet is. When the hose is filling with water, you can see it expand and 'grow', and it almost wraps around 2 sides of my home. When you drain the water out after using (per instructions) it contracts back up. The nozzle is mostly plastic, but it worked just fine with lots of spray options. I appreciate that 2 bonus nozzle washers were included as I've lost my share of these when taking nozzles on and off. The included nylon drawstring bag is not a big deal, but it does provide a case for storage when needed, and the clear inset panel is a nice touch because you can easily see that it is the hose you stored in the bag. My plants are happy that I'll be more motivated to water when I don't have to fight with the hose.

I have a large backyard area and I need to occasionally spray down and water behind a few structures. The 70' vinyl hose is such a pain to coil and store for the occasions I need the full length. Well, this has solved that annoyance! It's really great to watch it uncoil and stretch when I need to really maximize the reach. And once I'm done it recoils enough and is light enough that it's easily stowed away again. Getting another spray nozzle is a bonus as the last one is now at the end of its useable lifespan.
