I have Several Versions of this, because I hate hoses. They are maddening. So a year or so back I determined no more. No more, would I waste my time going back and forth all day unkinking not cheap but premium synthetic hoses $$$$. I thought I could just buy the most expensive rubber or Vinyl, Nope. My neighbor made it worse when he finally got a real no kink hose and spent all day grinning like an idiot. I could only congratulate him and say Ohh I'm good with what I have. Then curse under my breath. I hate moments like that. Yes, I think we all secretly hate hoses. So any thing that reduces the time we think about them is a good thing. Life is short and we have better things to do all day. So will you grin like an Idiot if you buy this? Probably. Maybey it would be a good day for a covid mask if you don't want people asking why you have that silly expression on your face. because as an adult I sure felt silly explaining I bought a hose too people who seemed too be asking themselfs if I was some kind of idiot. Because you do really have too explain it. If you only say "I got a hose, I GOT A HOSE!!! " too every one in town like George in Its a Wonderfull Life, while shaking them...... well they just won't get it will they? Until you say "a good hose" at which point people shake there heads and look at the ground clearly deciding that they are in the company of yet another a mad dreamer. They Might even make a comment like "theres no such thing, you crazy person". and back away while blocking you on social media behind there back. I advise you keep this in mind when you feel the urg to spread the good news around. Keep it too friends and family. Mine already think I'm crazy, but now they owe me for introducing them too the dream of kink free saturdays. These are basically the same thing you see in Commercial kitchens just bigger, and its true they really don't like too kink nor do they really have any memory when you go to put them away or extend them. Simply, a joy too use. I put brass quick ends on mine and boy is that slick. They are not perfect though. I do not think they can support allot of weight so Do Not run them over!!!. This above all. Other wise I could complain that there are machining marks in the brass but I won't because these are not for explosive gas they are for gardening and that would only inflate their cost. Be sure too save the extra gaskets they come with and enjoy lifes simple choices. these are good. :) Buy them and don't lose your mind when you start grinning like mad and mumbleing "it does exist, they do exist". ... show more

    • Lightweight stainless steel garden hose, exactly as pictured

I was very surprised when I opened the box from Amazon that the 12 ft. long stainless steel hose was actually enclosed. My first thought was that the package was too light. After removing the bag it was enclosed in I found 2 items, the hose as well as 3 replacement washers. The hose is exactly as pictured in the photos provided online. Of course, it is attractive since it is stainless steel and new. I was able to roll the whole length up which I like since it takes up less space if I want to store it. A magnet didn't stick to it but as I educated myself on the reasons why, it is most likely because of the alloy used, so no reflection on the metal. There are 2 concerns I have with using this hose. 1. It may get too hot outside to handle it and 2. that it may rust. Since I thought about both situations prior to selecting it, I think I have solutions that will work for me. I will use the hose on the side of my house that has the most shade so there should be no issue with the heat. I already use baking soda as a cleaning solution for many different applications and if wiping the metal down with a soapy rag doesn't keep it clean enough to avoid some rust then baking soda/water solution should be able to remove rust marks with little effort. If neither of these things are important to you, or you are able to use/clean the hose as I intend, then this product should work for you as well. In my case I don't plan on having any hose inspectors visiting me so as long as it doesn't get hot or leak I will be happy. I don't know if I am able to edit a review since I never tried before. If I am able, I will update this review after using it for a few months. ... show more

    • Excellent alternative to the standard garden hose and the spring-coiled hoses
The most immediate outstanding feature of this hose is its flexibility. Quite a contrast to a typical standard garden hose which is difficult to coil and uncoil when you use it unless you have a wall-mounted hose real. Because of this flexibility it will coil up in a smaller space than my previous hose which, given its location, is important. I was initially concerned that it would not flow as much water as the hose it was replacing, but a back-to-back test showed that it was equally as good. Of course, it will take a few years to verify its reliability, but the metal outer shield should help protect it from physical damage. It seems counterintuitive that the hose would have both exceptional flexibility and a metal protective out shield, but it just works! It is also easier to work with than the several spring-coiled hoses I have, which seem great in the advertising videos, but are more cumbersome in real world usage. Based on my usage so far, I would highly recommend this hose. ... show more

    • A Well-Made Stainless Steel Garden Hose
So Spring is just around the corner, and I was beginning to get the garden ready for the season. I took a look at my 10-year-old hose and realized that it was well overdue for a replacement. Of course, I came to Amazon and started to look around. I was about to order the same standard rubber hose as I have always done, when I saw this product. I thought about it and selected it. It is sturdy, well-made, and will not kink. What with it being Stainless Steel, it is surprisingly light. Beyond that, it functions well as a garden hose. Cheers ... show more
