I ordered this bike for my mom and I to use at home while watching TV. Shipping was fast, and we were both impressed with the quality of the materials in the bike. The bike itself is very sturdy and solid. The only pieces that are a bit lower/standard quality are the digital timer/calorie counter and the plastic clip-on stand for a phone/iPad. There's nothing wrong with those, they're just nothing special. I was able to put the bike together in about half-an-hour from the box - it was easy and all tools were provided. The bike has a large range with fine differences for resistance and is very easy to reach and adjust during use. The bike is very quiet - at low resistances it is almost silent, and only gets to a soft hiss at higher resistance. The pedals are nice metal pedals with adjustable 'baskets' for one's feet - personally I find those baskets annoying and so I just use the back side of the pedals (where they naturally hang, anyway, due to the weight of the baskets) and that works very well for me. I am not doing any extremely fast or high power spinning or anything like that, so I cannot say if the baskets would be more important with that kind of use. The seat is moderately comfortable - it is a little hard, but I have never found one that I didn't find hard with longer use, personally. Also, my mom and I are 5'3" and personally I wish the seat could be lowered about another inch, but this seems to be the way bikes are made in general - I find the same issue with all real bikes and realistic indoor bikes that aren't recumbent. Also it might be nice if the handlebars could go up about another inch for us short people. Still pretty comfortable. The height of the seat can be adjusted many inches, and it has a few inches of adjustment toward or away from the handlebars. The handlebars also have several inches of vertical adjustment possible. The heartrate monitor seems to work just fine but I haven't tried to compare it to another one for accuracy. I just ride for time, and adjust the resistance according to how I feel. Another thing I appreciate about this bike is that it has a pretty small footprint - it doesn't take up a lot of room and tucks into a corner easily. It can also be moved and has wheels on the front for that purpose. I would not suggest that an 85 year old with quite limited upper body strength do that because it does involve tipping the bike up on an end, but for the average user it is a piece of cake. The bike can also be moved just by sliding it around, especially if not on carpet. If you want a quiet, smaller, sturdy cardio machine at a lower price point, I don't think you can do better than this. I have purchased machines slightly under the price of this one before and the leveling up in quality with this one is huge compared to those. ... show more

    • Amazing home exercise bike
Date of Delivery: 01/17/23 Initial Impressions - package was about 85 lbs - The package arrived in good condition. Everything was wrapped in styrofoam, cling wrap, and taped. There are a few metal pieces that are not part of the bike, but they are in the box in such a way to prevent the bike from getting damaged. - Assembly was easy (you have to put the seat, pedals, water bottle holder, handle bar, console, and tablet holder on the main body of the bike) - All the tools you need are included - Footprint: 43” L x 20” wide - Bike is truly silent so far - Many people claim that the resistance is too heavy even on the lowest level. I don’t have that issue (I’m a 22 year old female, 5’5” tall, ≈135lbs; moderately active) - This does NOT tell you your cadence. You are either going to have to do the math or get a cadence tracker and attach the hardware to the bike. The display shows your speed in terms of km/h. - I find that it is easy to transport and move around. - The battery cover comes off easily, so you might need a little bit of tape to prevent the batteries from just falling to the ground. - The resistance knob does not have numeric values. If that’s something you need, check Etsy for “resistance gauge for spin bike” - Radius of flywheel: ≈ 9inches If you are trying the peloton hack, consider getting a cadence sensor, speed sensor, and resistance gauge. You are also going to want a way to measure your heartbeat, whether by a HB monitor or smartwatch. I’m not going to use the peloton app, so I’m just going to get the 2 sensors. That way I can keep track of my speed, cadence, and pulse (I already have a smart watch) on my phone. ••• ••• ••• 01/18/2023 - My first ride was about 40 minutes and here are my observations: - The seat is uncomfortable. However, this seems to be something that’s true of all bikes and those new go cycling. - The bike was very stable - I was able to adjust the bike and seat. While everything worked well, I wish you could slide the handle bars forward or backwards a little bit. Overall, I think the the bike is amazing. I was looking for something quiet, effective, and compact. This bike checks all those boxes for me. When the Exercise bike arrived by UPS, I was so happy to receive it so quickly and was even happier after opening the box. This is a well-made bike. The quality is very solid and strong. It is very stable and does not move while riding it. It has adjustments for how hard you want to pedal. It lets you know how many calories you burn, how many mph, heartbeats per minute, total miles to date. It takes up minimal space and looks like a much more expensive bike.
