    • Lots of noise and flashing lights

My wife took her scooter to Walmart and rode around the store. We have a hydraulic lift for carrying the scooter. She unloaded it and it started screeching and the lights were flashing. She drove it in and put it away in the family room. She tried it over and over and it still screeched. The meter showed that it still had plenty of charge. Today she decided to charge it up anyway. After it was fully charged, it stopped screeching and was normal. I think the screeching was a warming that the power was low. Low power can be dangerous so maybe it was deliberate. So if this happens to your scooter, charge it up and see if that fixes the problem. ... show more

My father retired at 88 yrs young and has been living with us since the beginning of Covid in which time he was unable to get much exercise. During these two years his legs became quite weak and he has never been able to get his strength back. He was a walking mail carrier for 37 yrs and after worked for 25 yrs at the Senate so he was always on his feet and getting exercise. As he aged, he started having issues with his back, knees and legs and developed neuropathy in his feet. We were looking for something small that we would take on trips with him/us to allow him to participate without being in pain. This scooter has given him legs again and we are so thankful. He loves it! When the item arrived and my husband put it together we noticed that there was two large cracks in the casing of the battery pack. After reaching out, the manufacturer is sending us a brand new battery free of charge! Very pleased with the fast turnaround on this issue as we needed the scooter for an upcoming trip and it would have been a huge hassle to have to try and send the scooter back (it was delivered in a large FedEx truck). Once I receive tracking information on the new battery I will most definitely be changing my rating to FIVE STARS!!! ... show more

Request for battery replacement was honored. Come to find out the charger was bad. Only lasted 7 months out of warranty at 6 months. Love the cart just hope that is the last problem I have.

    • Not well made and dangerous on inclines

I purchased an ewheels scooter for my wife while she recovers from a broken leg. It seems to work well the first couple times we took it out around the neighborhood, which has entirely flat streets with only a very minor bump getting in and out of our driveway. However two things have convinced me to return the scooter. 1. It's started making a constant whining noise when running, like the motor is having an issue. It's only been used for around an hour and a half so far, so that's not a good indicator for its durability. 2. It literally flipped over backwards while trying to take it up a 6 inch high by 3 foot long ramp. Is that a bit steep, yes. But I've been on many roads steeper than that, as well as access ramps to some older buildings. There don't appear to be any tilt or flip protections at all in this scooter, which makes it dangerous to use. ... show more

Have only had this a short time, BUT... We easily took it apart and put it in the rear of the car, easily put it back together at the zoo, and took off! Having this allowed me to enjoy an outing for the first time in years. I cannot walk any real distance (Emphysema), so it was extremely helpful to us both. If I can figure out how to get it on an airplane, off to Vegas we go! ... show more

This product had electrical problems from the minute it arrived. The manufacturer made several efforts to try and resolve the issue but things just kept getting worse...to the point where the battery would drain in less than 10 minutes, even though the unit was fully charged.
