This Canon TR4723 is a great printer, I got it in white and just love it. I set it up online with the accompanied instructions and downloaded the canon utilities and can set the printer to only stay on when I need it, which I have set for 15minutes and then it shuts off and when it comes out of the box, the printer stays on all the time is it's default, by myself. Very easy to do. This multifunction printer, scans, copies and if you fax will do that. Just remember to save your previous USB cord as it does not come with one, or you will have to buy one. It is a great printer and well worth the money, paper tray is a little flimsy. But a great Printer! ... show more

They don't disclose this. This series is a Canadian printer, so no warranty here. No back light on LED, so you'll need to keep a lamp on your printer to see anything. Not printing from phone which we really wanted. It printed a few times initially only because I (had to) install the Canon app and go through several extra steps even tho all wifi settings match. Really disappointed. Never buying Canon again. ... show more

    • Does not connect to 5 G
Set up was really easy until it was time to connect to Wi-Fi. Then the fun began! I spent roughly two hours trying to find a way to connect to internet. Finally gave up. My son came this afternoon and after another couple hours finally gave up and connected it to my laptop with the printer cable. Not really a big deal since I would rarely want to print from my phone or Kindle. Just an inconvenience to spend that much time trying to set up a new printer. So be prepared if you have 5 G internet since the message I got was it could not connect to 5G. The output paper tray is really too short so if you print more than three pages expect to find your paper in a pile on the floor! I've looked for some kind of accessory to extend the tray but found nothing so I will try to McGiver it! Having to gather my paper off the floor and colate it is no fun! ... show more

    • difficult to set up
First of all, the getting started guide is totally inadequate. the panel is entirely too small, and too dark, extremely difficult to read without a flashlight. it is replacing a mx922 which has a much larger panel in the front, and it is quite easy to read. It did not want to pair with my wifi, took several attempts. It has a flimsy feel to it. In its defense, I mainly bought it to print photographs, which it does an adequate job. Just be patient when setting up, and have the owner's manual up on your computer to answer questions. Going back and forth between the printer and computer can make for a frustrating task! ... show more

    • Can't set up printer
Looks nice, wish I could set it up and see how it prints. The only message I get on the display is "Language Selection" I choose English and it goes into a loop and never completes the setup. Going to have to return and I need a printer TODAY! There are no contact numbers if you have problems. This model (TR4723) does not show as an option in the online set up. When I try to type it in, it says "Invalid name". ... show more

Thank you amazon for your wonderful service and how fast I received it. I was so surprised how fast the service was. I figured it would take me an hour to set it up because I wanted to set it up to my iPad only and wireless. I followed the good instructions and had it work indices minutes.
