This is one of the best inventions! I do animal rescue and if you're not stepping on a hairball or an accident of some kind from one of them it isn't a normal day. This is just so handy, you take it out turn it on and clean up the mess in a minute or two. Empty out the dirty water container and rinse it and you're done. I make up a batch of cleaner and water and keep the cleaning solution full. Just pick it up clean and go. Has an extra long cord too which makes it very handy. Why didn't I know about this before! If you’re like me, looking to buy a small upholstery cleaner to replace an older machine (or just to outright purchase), this is an excellent choice. I had a Bissel Little Green for years and it finally died on me. It had gone through the wringer, so it gave me a lot of life and use in its time. But I decided to check a few other options and decided to buy this Eureka model. I am super happy with this for a handful of reasons: The tanks from the Little Green were a bit clumsy to empty and/or fill. They did not have a flat base and so you had to hold them as they were being filled- whereas this model has a perfectly flat bottom on each tank so they sit on their own without issue. The dirty tank and the cleaning head are both WAY easier to clean with this Eureka. Hands down, no comparison. My Little Green was looking haggard no matter how much I tried to clean it. The clean water tank FULLY empties when it’s done spraying. The Little Green always had extra cleaning solution/water in its tank when it would no longer spray. Not a big deal but it always annoyed me. None left in the Eureka when it’s done spraying. The eureka has a longer cord and a longer hose. Enough said. As others have stated, the suction power with this Eureka is really great. Definitely better than my Little Green, which likely slowed down a bit with age. Also, the Eureka cleaning head is wider and so suction work takes less time with wider passes. The ONLY downside I’ve found in the few days of owning the Eureka is that the cleaning head doesn’t swivel on the hose like the Little Green does. To me, with all the other pros, this is not much of an issue, especially with its longer cleaning hose. Great machine for the money and hoping it holds up over time even better than the other model as it is easier to clean and care for! ... show more

I bought this in case my cat decided to vomit on the couch or carpet and tried it out on detailing my truck. The seats in this 1998 have never been cleaned. The first picture is after 2 passes on the driver and passenger seat but the middle seat wasn't touched yet. The next 2 pictures show the seats completely cleaned after 3 passes over each seat. The sludge it pulled out in the tank was atrocious. The truck now smells clean and the seats feel soft and plush again. I also used this on my couch after a guest spilled beer on it. It pulled the beer out and within 15 minutes the couch was dry enough to sit on again. It does a fantastic job at extracting most of the fluid in the cloth. Cleaning this machine is a breeze too. I had a Hoover equivalent a few years ago and it was impossible to clean the tanks out on that machine. The float assembly is easily removable on this one and the whole tank is accessible to be cleaned out. One word of caution, when cleaning the hose out only fill a bowl or sink basin with enough water to not overfill the extraction tank. And don’t completely submerge the hose in the bowl of water either. It sucked out the water and overflowed the tank within a few seconds. There’s an overflow drain on the bottom of the unit where water just poured onto the floor. It happened so quick the unit didn’t even shut off from the float. Now I just feather the hose in the sink basin and gradually let it suck out the water and cleaning solution. And so far it’s been working great. ... show more

This little shampooer is a work horse! We used it to help suck up water when our basement flooded. Honestly, I expected to motor to burn out, but it didn’t! Also, does a good job cleaning up pet messes, which is what I bought it!

As far as inexpensive cleaning products go, this thing works pretty well for cleaning liquid stains from furniture/carpets. However, the small size of the water tanks make it so that it will have to be refilled fairly often if you are cleaning with it for any length of time. For my purposes, while it was nice that it was included with the package, the provided cleaning solution did not quite work well enough for my taste and had to be supplemented with other cleaning solutions and this cleaner does not actually have a heated steaming function ... show more
