After using it for a few months now I have really come to rely on it. This little machine is a real essential in my routine cleaning. I'm talking muddy paw prints or coffee spills it has handled everything I have thrown at it. The included cleaning solution works well, and the suction power seems up to par with what you would expect. One of my biggest complaints with other spot cleaners I have used in the past is their water tank capacity. This cleaner has a decent size clean water tank holding 50.7oz. I can clean a large area without having to refill constantly. This cleaner is also very lightweight and easy to move around. Eve the hose and attachments are long enouh for me to reach into my furnitures crevices. The only miner issue would be the noise level. It is not a deal breaker It is no louder than a vacuum cleaner at the most. I use it most for spot cleaning, and refreshing my upholstery. It is not a replacement for a professional deep carpet cleaning like every year or so, especially in high traffic areas. Rating this was hard, if I could give it a 4.5 I would. I like it's compact size, it's not heavy, easy to fill and clean out and wraps up nicely for storage. The suction seems good, better than other's I've tried. You could also suck up spills on your floors too if you felt like it. I mostly wanted this as an upholstery cleaner for my couch and chairs. When I cleaned my chair (a light grey fabric) it did a good job of removing the dirt stains left behind from my husband's dirty clothes and hands. Then I used it on my linen couch, which is more whitish/cream? It had a couple of light spots from grandkids, nothing big or nasty. I think maybe it's the fabric of my couch, but the clean on it was different. I did the same area 3 times and what happened was: the area got cleaner, but the "ring of lifted dirt" kept spreading wider and wider. I even just tried hot water with no soap to see if this final ring could disappear. It's very light and hard to see if you aren't aware of it, or if you don't catch the light on the couch at a certain time of day, but I know I can't clean it.
