Not sure all the negativities, I had this for two weeks now and things are working beautifully AI versus motion detection works very well. Live a fairly busy street and this thing does not bother you with unnecessary alerts, and the subscription is great. I still have footage from the same day I installed it so don’t be too worried about the memory card situation. Out with the old in with the new. This Eufy, a brand I absolutely adore, replaced our Ring doorbell. Surprisingly it was narrow enough to replace our old doorbell button as well! That’s not something the ring doorbell could do because of its width, it had to go on the wall. This Eufy was narrow enough to go on the wooden frame of the door and let me tell you its picture is wonderfully crisp. I love all the human alerts and how it captures a close-up picture of the person’s face as well. This thing is great and no monthly fees! Like Ring did to us. It was a nice device, but required a monthly service fee after your initial subscription ran out, which I did not like at all.

I installed the eufy Security Video Doorbell 2E a couple of weeks ago, it took me just few minutes for the whole process and the video doorbell is working just perfect since. The image quality is excellent so the sensitivity and stability of the system. I only regret this camera does not support HomeKit but it is so good in all other respects that I recommend this product anyway!

The setup was a little stressful. That's only because I needed to reset it in a special way. If you look on the Reddit thread for it, you'll find instructions for that sequence. I had to call customer service 2x because the first lady hung up on me (wtf). The second lady would have been helpful if I had not already looked on the reddit thread. Once it was setup, I personalized it and made it wireless. This has been great in helping me send my neighbor's abusive boyfriend to jail<3. He threw his dog on the ground and beats her:T I will say the live feature is a LITTLE DELAYED. But that's my only complaint. 9/10 overall. I feel safer knowing I can watch my door while I'm away or warn my roommates if I see a suspicious person walking around.

I hardly do reviews, but this warranted one. I bought this doorbell because I got tired of the monthly subscription from Ring. I already have two Eufy cameras that have been working well for 2 years so I thought the doorbell would be good. WELP I was wrong. I got everything mounted paired the device and the live view will not work. Along with any motion detection even if you tap the camera. Its just error message after error message. I've deleted and paired this multiple times. The WIFI signal is not the issue. I have fiber internet and mesh routers the signal strenth is at max bars. I've even unpaired it from the homebase it came with and used my existing homebase that all my other eufy cameras work on and it still wont detect any motion or allow you to see a live feed. My only other option for a non subscription video doorbell is from the blink brand and i wanted to go with this one due to this having higher quality, more features. But i guess i may have to try the cheaper brand. As someone with Eufy cameras i would say STAY AWAY from Eufy Doorbells.

Very good quality camera. Very clear video. Battery charge lasts for me almost 2 months and so easy to recharge. No monthly fee, just a wonderful brand security camera.

Our entire family replaced all our Ring doorbells with this Eufy. You must get this model 2E with base station. The base station allows you to store all video locally for free. Don’t pay for cloud storage. Ring and new Eufy Gen 2 is $8/month. The newer model only stores videos in the cloud for $8/month.
