  • Make sure to clean the rollers after use, not just the bin.
5 star product. I had a roomba previously (5 years I think), it needed a new bin costing $90. Bought this, a refurbished model at $125. The roomba sounds like a jet on taking off, the eufy is pleasantly quiet. I thought it may not have been good enough, but it was. I didn't use the setting with more suction. Normal was sufficient. Given that is was so quiet I considered using it at night. Used it 3 times. The fourth time it fell from the first floor and broke. I don't think it was the sensors. The brush was entangled with my wife's hair. Removing the hair was difficult. I believe that the eufy was at the edge and couldn't move because of the stuck roller brush. It may have rocked back and forth and fell. The roomba had rubber rollers so I didn't have to pay attention to that happening. Hair would gather at the sides. I'd remove them after. I put the vacuum back together, but I'm getting an error. The vacuum believes it's still stuck at the edge. In summary, clean the roller brush after each use. Update The error was Error 6 where I was informed to place the vacuum back where it was stuck. I placed it at the top of the staircase, still got the error. Took the vacuum apart, checked all the connections, still got the error. Decided to place the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs, where it fell to, just about 2 feet across from where it fell but about 12 feet below. It started working again. I ran it twice since. Got an error 1 once, nothing significant. Really pleased that it works. ... show more

  • Great Vacuum If You Have a Pet!
I bought this vacuum to replace the one I was given as a Christmas gift. The previous vacuum was a "dumb" model and got stuck under our couch, so I needed one that would work with borders. I bought the "renewed" model based on product reviews, and with the money I saved by not buying a brand-new one, I purchased an extended warranty. My daughter has one and the roller brush broke, but Eufy was great about replacing it. While the vacuum doesn't eliminate the need for running a vacuum manually, it does a nice job of picking up pet hair between full manual vacuuming sessions. You will be amazed at how much pet hair it picks up. You just have to be diligent about removing the hair from the roller brush, which is easy with the included tool. My only knock on this vacuum is the magnetic border strips that are included with the vacuum. They're pretty poor quality and curl up on the ends even with if installed with double-sided tape. I had the strips rolled out for a couple of weeks with weights on them, but they still curled up when installed. The after-market tape that I bought was wider and heavier. It did not require the tape, but I used it anyway to keep the magnetic strips from moving. The phone app allows you to schedule different run times for every day and provides a map of the area covered when it's done. It will also send an alert to your phone if the vacuum gets stuck somewhere. ... show more

  • Great product, Greater service
I must say this is one of the best products I have recently purchased. I bought the renewed version and would do so against. I had some trouble connecting my eufy RoboVac model G30 Edge to the internet. I am convinced it was all my fault but, eufylife customer service team helped me though it. In addition there was a cable for the charger/home unit with exposed copper though worn insulation on the low voltage side of the adapter. I mentioned that to eufylife customer service and they sent me another one. They followed up on the adapter shipment but, I had not received it due to a delivery error by USPS. Customer service from eufy sent another adapter. The USPS also responded to the reported error by me and eufy customer and found the original shipment. This is a good story with a happy ending. Eufylife customer service is absolutely outstanding. They support a very good product with excellent results. I would recommend this product without question. That is true of every product in the Anker line of products. ... show more

  • Machine Non Functional out of the Box
Unpacked and set up machine. Showed fully charged. But, after, it would just come out of its charging unit, turn 180 degrees, begin to run up the vacuum motor and then completely stop. Same scenario happened repeatedly - no difference if controlled manually or by app. Would not start when placed on floor from charging unit. In my opinion the unit had not been renewed. Seems issue it was returned for must have persisted. I am irritated that I wasted time trying to get it to run and now must take the time to return it. From what I can see I believe EUFY makes good robot vacs - and I will try a new one. Just nothing from WOOT. ... show more

  • Incorrect/missing parts - Where’s the filter?
I don’t know if the problem comes from Eufy or whomever is fulfilling these orders; however, the first one of these that arrived seemed to have shipped with the wrong charger base. I packed it all up and returned it, and they sent me a “new” one. But this robot vac also seemed to have missing and incorrect parts. There was no filter (which I only recently discovered). It’s too much of a hassle to pack it up, send it back, and hope they don’t screw the order up again (it’s probably outside the return window anyway), so I will just have to bite the bullet and buy my own filter. Having bought several of these robot vacuums from Eufy over the years without incident, I am extremely disappointed with what’s gone on with this particular model. ... show more
