My husband is turning 50 this year and has started having stiff, hurting knees. He says this is a life saver. He sits in his chair, turns the tv on or plays on his phone, puts his feet on the pedals while this exerciser does all the work. He has told everyone that will listen how much he loves it and that it is a, "Game Changer!" There was no assembly required. The remote and buttons aren't really self explanatory so we just pushed buttons until it ended up at the speed he wanted. I didn't see much in the way of instructions but my husband is one who just wants to turn it on and it work and for him that's what it does. So, the machine is good, but the electric cord (the part that goes into the machine is loose, so it keeps slipping out and so the machine stops running... you can play with it, and it will work again, but it's annoying that brand new it has this issue!
