As someone who's been hitting the gym hard for over a decade, the stair climber has been mandatory for torching calories and building serious lower body endurance. But the thing that I got sick of was waiting in line for the machines at my local gym and people not cleaning after themselves. I finally decided to invest in a stairclimber machine for home use and looking back, I don't know how I used to live without it. Most commercial grade options are HUGE and can only fit in a garage but this ERGOLIFE model is a complete game changer. It has a super compact footprint so I easily set it up in my spare room without it taking over the entire house! First off, this thing is built like a TANK despite its compact size. It says it has a 660 lbs weight limit and based off the build quality I honestly believe it. There is no wobbling or shaking even when I'm going full speed. The safety system also gives me total peace of mind when I'm pushing through that late-workout fatigue. The wildest thing though is how smooth and quiet it is. My old gym's machines would clank crazy style but this stair stepper uses dual EMS resistance and a Gates drive belt. That's the attention to detail that surprised me. It's practically silent which is huge because after work, my family is either sleeping or watching tv in the next room. The "natural floating step" is a total lifesaver too. The step is at a 35 degree sweet spot and the 7 inch height makes the motion feel super natural, saving my knees from that harsh impact you usually get on cheaper cardio equipment. With 25 resistance levels, I can et it to match whatever energy level I have. Whether I want a chill recovery session or an all-out high intensity sweatfest at 164 steps per minute, this stair climber handles it effortlessly. The 15.6 inch LED touchscreen is nice, easy to read mid-workout, and the wireless charging is a nice touch for keeping my phone juiced up while I watch my basketball games and shows! First, and deservingly, a shot out to the manufacturer. Superior customer service. I've just used this stairmill and couldn't be happier. Do yourself a favor and get it. As an avid user of the Stairmaster in the gym, this one is on that same level. It's steps run smooth and consistent. The stairs are large enough to accommodate my whole foot (size 8). Bonuses are the cordless phone charging and the noise level is a fraction of other machines. Only thing missing for me was the fans; I just bought a backseat car fan and problem solved. I was nervous with such an expensive purchase but I'm thrilled to have done it. I look forward to using this commercial quality machine in the convience of home. ... show more
