    • Almost Exactly What I Was Looking For!
All I wanted was a small, simple clock that runs off one AA battery and tells me what time it is - this one fills the bill! My only quibble is the blue backlight - which stays on only as long as you press the snooze and not one second longer (this is a positive for me) - is just way too bright. I cracked it open and put a 10k ohm resistor in series with the LED and now I'm a happy snoozer. It could be improved in other ways like a quietly operating snooze button (ALL the buttons on this clock are quite clacky), and maybe up/down buttons instead of just up. But for super cheap and being almost exactly what I was looking for amongst a sea of sub-optimal fluff, I really can't complain too much. Mine is currently running like a champ with a rechargable NiMh AA cell, and that's another positive. ... show more

    • Light and easy to use.
Can't beat it! Very light with easy to use controls. My only complaint is that it is so light that you have to hold it with one hand while making time or alarm changes with the other. However, that also makes it a great traveling alarm clock! UPDATE: unfortunately after only 6 weeks of use, the alarm has stopped working..... ... show more

Exactly what we needed! This is a small, nice-looking, battery-operated alarm clock with a readable but inobtrusive glow, unlike some of the screaming blue and red clocks we've had. And the alarm doesn't scream in your face ... it's kind of nice, like it's saying "hello, hello, hello." I realize that made me sound nuts, but I've dealt with an awful lot of alarm clocks in my life, and this one just seems friendlier. (No, I'm not senile or stoned; after four tries with small alarm clocks in two weeks, I'm just very impressed with this one.) ... show more

    • Stopped working in less than one month
My wife wanted a small battery clock for the bathroom. Clock was right size but hard to read the time without pushing the light bar. The digital numbers begin to disappear in one month. Don't waste money on this clock.

    • Equity alarm clock
This is to replace another Equity alarm clock that I have had for years. It still worked, but I could no longer change the times on it. It still had the original battery, which I put in my new one. It works great!

The clock on the LEFT is our old Equity 31003 alarm clock. It looks like the same clock thats in the photos in the Amazon ad, right? But lo and behold - what we received was the clock on the RIGHT, which is VERY different! They both say "Model 31003". The screen is about the same size, but the whole clock is shorter, narrower, lighter, and a cheaper plastic. Maybe some will prefer the smaller, lighter profile but we much prefer the original, and disappointed that the clock doesn't match the ad photos! ... show more

    • This item is SUPER TINY
It works perfectly and I'm glad I got it, but I want to warn all readers of reviews that this is one small little tiny clock! Fits in the palm of my hand. But it's easy to set alarm and time, the snooze is easy to hit, the alarm is loud enough to wake me, no complaints. Edit, August 17, 2016: Have owned this just under 3 years, it died last night, cannot set the minutes for alarm or time, no matter how hard I try, battery still operational. Am disappointed. I believe a clock should last longer than 3 years. ... show more
