WoW!! My hubby encouraged me to spend the money and get a high-end projector. I used it the first time today and I must say that hubby was right. I downloaded and ran the executable file for the USB connection. All I had to do was connect the laptop to the projector, turn on both than walk away. The projector automatically detected the screen, adjusted to the screen size, adjusted the keystone then waited for me to start my presentation. No more anxiety about AV and if it will or will not work at my next training. Several audience members commented on how bright and clear to display was. A few said it was the best display they had ever seen and that the picture was so clear and crisp that it looks like a television, not a projected image. Given the projector it replaced was sub100 from Walmart, this was indeed an anticipated upgrade but wow, bright, crisp, intuitive, and light but not cheap feeling. Recognized the USB stick immediately and images were on the wall without a screen better than the Vankyo with a screen. It does run hot, quite hot. I was surprised that there is an explicit instruction that you need not let it cool before unplugging. We'll be looking for a spare bulb just in case. ... show more

    • Great Image Quality But Poor Sound

This is a good choice for those who travel and make presentations, as it's very light and compact. The image quality is excellent, and it throws enough light to work well even in a room with some ambient light. It also is easy to set up and can be connected to a laptop via USB, VGA as well as wireless network. It's wireless network function also allows a mobile device or tablet to be connected. My only criticisms are that it runs a bit hot, and it's fan is quite loud. Also, the audio output is absolutely dismal and even in a small room you'll need another device, such as amplified speakers, if your presentation has sound. Making matters worse, for some reason the audio output jack which is supposed to drive amplified speakers does not work. I am pretty confident I had all the correct settings, but there is simply no audio output from the projector. The work-around is to simply use my laptop's audio output to drive a small amplified sound bar, which works very well. Since I'm a photographer, I'm more interested in the image quality anyway. ... show more
