To be honest I bought this just for the clock function, the charging options were just a plus. It was easy to set up the time and I LOVE the auto brightness option. It even has some sort of backup battery so when there’s a loss of power, it still runs. Dislikes: -It does not come with a watch charger, just a spot to hold one. -The watch charger side does not fold like the headphone charger side, which makes me think it might break if packed away. -Your phone must be placed in an exact spot to allow for the wireless charging on top. -When trying to charge all 3 items at the same time, it seems to go slow but that could have something to do with sharing power. Over all I think it’s a great purchase and the clock works exactly as I need it to. ... show more

When my Bose alarm clock passed and I could not buy a replacement -- pfffft to Bose for that decision -- I started looking for a replacement. The Emerson clock radio is filling the gap nicely, substituting blue tooth for the CDs on my previous machine. And who wants a bunch of CDs taking up space needed by other items? Add the phone charger, the Apple watch charger and more efficient use of space and we are seeing a quantum upgrade for today's needs. This is a nice clock and the phone and iPod chargers work really good. The problem and why I sent it back for a refund is you have to use your watch charger to charge your watch so all the clock does is provide a place for it to sit. I didn't realize that or I would have never purchased it.

Love what it does, but my unit is less than a year old and it has started to malfunction. Prior to the issues arising I would have given this product 5 stars, but considering I expect it to fail soon I have to deduct 3. First the pros. You get a convenient alarm clock/radio/Bluetooth speaker combo with weekday and weekend alarms. Emerson has been making alarm clocks for a while, and their game is still on point here. As an alarm clock I have no complaints about this device, it really is flawless. The radio is decent, and the speaker is somewhat dull and doesn't have audio quality that will blow you away, but it is servicable. Now for the cons. This thing fails as a charging station. When I set my phone to charge on it after some time it will begin to emit a low static hum and stop charging my phone while the unit overheats. It also can not reliably deliver enough power to charge my phone and smart watch at the same time, let alone a pair of wireless buds. Given that the entire point of this charging station/clock is to dump your gadgets on it to charge while you sleep, this is a deal breaker. I hope my unit is just defective, because prior to this behavior it was my favorite wireless charging solution for all my devices. I suspect however that despite advertising rapid charging the unit is constructed in such a way as to not be rated for the wattage passing through it, hence the breakdown in power delivery components and feedback into the speaker system. I intend to make a warranty claim with Emerson to see if this can be fixed. This review may be updated after that experience. ... show more
