Very nice condition

You cant go wrong with a Bose. Although I bought this one refurbished it seems to work GOOD and it sounds GOOD. I was a little hesitant because when I received it, the box had a hole in it despite the FRAGILE stickers all over it. I do think a little more bubble wrap inside the box would have been in order. However, the CD player works as well as the radio. Both sound awesome. The digital face also lights up well and the remote control works good as well. Its clean and blemish free. THANKS to the seller SAGE PLUS STORE for a GOOD product.

Bose, I Salute You ... This Unit Lives Up To All The Hype!

I thought I had already reviewed this purchase. My first attempt didn't publish, but I thought the second attempt had, well anyway ... I LOVE THIS MUSIC SYSTEM! I can't get over the incredible sound that comes out of a system of this size. On some of my CDs the sound is better than on my living room stereo system. This unit is placed in my bedroom and whether I'm playing the radio or a CD or MP3, I have absolutely no complaints regarding the sound. The "bottom" (bass line) is incredible!! I love the ease of turning the unit on or off (soft touch to the top), but I will probably purchase the Wave III premium backlit remote soon. Not because I dislike the "credit card-sized" remote that comes with the unit, but because if I misplace it - it's doubtful but it could happen - I could only use the radio if it was the last feature that I was playing before turning the unit off (and I couldn't change the radio station). You have to have a remote to switch between playing the radio, CDs, or any other audio/video auxilliary equipment connected to the unit. You can't change the radio stations, or move forward or backward in the CD's tracks, set either of the two alarms, change the factory settings for certain features, etc., without a remote control! I've had the music system for over a month and I consider it money very well spent. I've already raved enough about it that I convinced a relative to buy one. (He said he had intended to buy the system but wanted to get a review from another "audiophile" who's opinion he trusted.) I didn't have to purchase a FM antenna, and my AM stations sound better than they do via the tuner on my living room stereo system! If I have one complaint about this unit it is that when playing CDs you see the disc's elasped playing time for each track, but unfortunately as the disc is being read when first put into the unit, there's no total playing time for the entire compact disc, nor is there information regarding the total number of tracks on the disc. Here's hoping that the engineers/designers who will be working on the Bose Wave Music System IV (I don't doubt that that will be the next model in this line) will incorporate those features.

Worried For Nothing!

I was a little nervous to order a used product, but I worried for nothing! The sound is fantastic and I LOVE it!! Also, it was packed so carefully and covered tightly in bubble wrap. Sweet!

Great seller, fantastic product

First off, kudos to the seller. My package arrived arrive a full week before it was originally estimated for, and the care put into the package was much appreciated. Product looked good (very minor wear), and the remote battery had juice. As to the stereo itself: I have hundreds of CDs, and that is my preferred method for consuming music. I currently had a Wave IV in my office, and it has been a workhorse for the last four years or so. Bose does not make Wave systems of any kind any more, and I wanted to get a backup, both for another room and in case anything happened to my original. This may be a Wave III, but I couldn't even tell that it was a generation behind. It sounds just as good - and maybe even better - than my Wave IV. Incredible full and rich sound that literally fills even a large room. Highly recommended. It may seem a bit costly, but I think it's worth every penny.

Not worth it

So disappointed in this. Cd player will not read any of the discs. The discs work just fine in my other stereo. No I have to go through the hassle of returning it and getting my money back.

Wave Music System
This is the 2nd Wave Music System I've ordered within a month. It seems people either love or hate Bose equipment. Let me start by saying that I am a Bose lover. I have several Bose systems in my home and in my '07 TrailBlazer. I was going to get a Bose Acoustic Wave System but instead bought 2 WMS units. I felt that the Acoustic Wave may be too much for my Computer Room (I have a pair of Bose Companion speakers on my main system), and with 2 WMS units I could put one in another room. Are Bose systems pricey? Yes, I feel they are. But the more important question is; do Bose system put out good sound. I feel they do. I think for the cost of a WMS they should INCLUDE the premium remote because like others have said without the remote the unit is pretty useless. That being said without any buttons and stuff on the top like the Wave Radio (which we also have), it does make for a very clean layout and possibly another small device could be put on top such as the iPod accessory. For the kind of music I listen to, smooth jazz and contemporary instrumental, I feel the WMS sounds great from a very quiet background level to a room filling relatively high volume situation. I'm not talking concert hall but a more or less "normal" size room in a typical home. Some complain about the lack of tone controls which is essentially true other than the "talk" mode for talk radio. I think what Bose tries to do is recreate the music as if you were in a concert with that group/artist. A few artists that I typically listen to, I have attended their concerts and based on that I feel that Bose does indeed recreate the sound accurately. Is it perfect? Probably not. Is it realistic? I think so. So in closing while I agree that Bose is a bit pricey and they should include the Premium Remote, I am VERY PLEASED with these 2 WMS units I bought.

This is an awesome CD player / radio. The only problem I have, is some of my CDs are not capable of being read by the reader and thus will not play. I don’t know if that’s an electronic problem or a cleaning problem.
